Description:

This is the sister hotel of the Coral Reef Club, run by the husband and wife team of Wayne and Karen Capaldi and has the honor of being a member of the prestigious group, “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”. The Sandpiper is about five minutes down the beach from the Coral Reef Club and guests from one hotel may enjoy the facilities of the other.

In December 2005 The Sandpiper re-opened after completing an extensive re-development program in which the reception building was completely renovated, the gardens re-landscaped and two luxurious Tree Top Suites, with outstanding interior design and their own plunge pools, were built. These suites add a new dimension of luxury to The Sandpiper. There are also One and Two Bedroom Suites with kitchens and living rooms which are ideal for families or for two couples sharing. The Sandpiper’s garden rooms are well-appointed with private balconies or terraces.

Casual and yet still elegant, The Sandpiper is set in lush gardens leading to an excellent white sand beach. A wide range of complimentary water sports, including waterskiing, are available and Sandy Lane golf course is within 10 minutes of the hotel. In addition to the above, there are tennis courts and a fully equipped fitness center.

Sandpiper's restaurant is rated as one of the top dining venues in Barbados. The Chef's style is eclectic, using international influences while emphasizing fresh Caribbean ingredients. The many repeat clients of The Sandpiper rate service of the staff and the restaurant as their main reasons for returning again and again.

Tranquil Koi ponds, waterfalls, lovely gardens highlighted by the brilliant pinks, purples and whites of hanging bougainvillea and watched over by towering palms all help foster an atmosphere of relaxation and peace at this hidden treasure of a hotel.

Additional:	High/Shoulder Season children’s rates for additional child under age 12 sharing 1 BR Suite - $110/night. Low Season $55/night. High/Shoulder Seasons 5th adult/child sharing 2BR Suite $160. Low Season 5th adult/child sharing 2 BR Suite US$145/night. Dinner plan is $55 per person per day, $35 for children under age 12.
