	My husband and I got married in Barbados, and spent our wedding night in one of the tree top suites at Sandpiper. It was the most beautiful end to a beautiful day. From the time we arrived, until the time we left for our overseas honeymoon the next day, the management and staff made us feel so very special that it is now one of the most unforgetable experiences of our lives. The suite was fantastic - top of the line, first class. We wished that we were spending our entire honeymoom here. The layout of the room, the decor, the attention to detail, and exquisite fittings and furnishing were truly luxurious. The food was wonderful, the view was spectacular, the staff was amazing, and the gardens were so beautiful. We want to thank the management and staff for completing our wonderful memories on that very special day. The experience will stay with us forever. We are looking forward to spending our first anniversary in the same suite. This time, for a much longer period. I recommend this hotel to anyone with discerning tastes who knows that they deserve to be pampered. This property deserves the high rating it receives.

	We moved to the Sandpiper from another hotel, which was unsatisfactory and were pleasantly surprised. Our double suite was large, clean, well equipped, well maintained and quiet. This is a small, family run hotel with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. Here adults and children alike are made welcome in a well-managed environment. Beautiful grounds, tennis courts, gym, lovely and quiet but small beach and all the watersports you could wish for. We have stayed in many hotels in the Caribbean and after a couple of days we normally get used to the laid back Caribbean service—not at this place! Whilst relaxed and unstuffy the service is exceptional. All the staff from the M.D. down really care, and provided us with what I can only describe as exceptional service. The beautiful restaurant and Harold's beach bar made the holiday—particularly H's bar for the kids. We will go back!

	I do a lot of traveling so I feel confident when I say that my family and I have just had the most wonderful experience during our stay at the Sandpiper. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and the atmosphere was everything you’d expect Barbados to be. I have never felt so at home in a hotel before. From Andrian the bellman and Denise the maid, to Harold the Bartender—everyone was great. Words cannot describe the wonderful experience a type of hotel like this provides in comparison to the larger corporate hotels. I have stayed at the finest hotels in the Western Hemisphere and this one is by far the best. If you want to experience Barbados and the people, come here.

	We had the most fantastic time. It was a fabulous hotel with wondeful staff and excellent service. Nothing was a problem and we would recommend anyone to visit this hotel. We cannot wait to return! The Sand Piper makes you to feel so welcome and we enjoyed every minute in this hotel very much. The watersports were great, the restaurant just too perfect for words.

	My wife and I stayed at the Sandpiper on our first visit to Barbados in the early '90's. We loved the calm atmosphere, excellent cuisine and overall appearance of the grounds. The Sandpiper had charm, elegance and did not have the feel and appearance of a large scale and multi-national resort. Wayne and Karen were charming hosts and you felt as though you were their guests in their home. The grounds were beautifully manicured and tended to each day. The food was exceptional. The facilities were relatively plain, with no gym, a small beach and the rooms were nice but basic. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet, romantic spot, this is your place.
