I love this place! Visited: April 2008 |

| I have been to Barbados twice, and both times have stayed at the Bougainvillea and would never change it for another hotel. The people there instantly become your best friends, and will make you feel very welcome. The beach was very clean, and although the sea can be a little rough, when you swim past the breakers the sea is calm and peaceful. The rooms were clean and spacious. If you are lucky to get a seaview, you will love waking up in the morning to see the view. Its location was fantastic with St. Lawrence Gap only a few minutes away, and Bridgetown a short drive. St. Lawrence was great fun every evening as it was busy with great restaurants and brillant bars. 'Cool Runnings' Catamarans were a great day out for a fantastic price. You get two snorkeling sessions, and a great buffet lunch on a quiet beach with an open bar! Evening trips sounded even better. Both times I have visited the island I have gone in April and the weather was great. There was a refreshing breeze coming off the coast, and the pool bar was busy all day with a fun atmosphere and amazing rum punch. I have spent many hours there talking to the bar staff and other guests who all agree it's 'Paradise'. Although it is expensive to get to Barbados, the food and drink is relatively cheap. The nicer restaurants are more expensive, but the food is superb - especially Pisces and Southsea, both in The Gap. I can't wait to go back there next May. See you soon Barbados! |

| Accra Beach Hotel and Resort is located conveniently close to Roger's Scuba Shack, a fun scuba experience where even first timers can dive six wrecks, 40 ft deep, in stunning water. However, when you're out enjoying scuba or a beautiful wedding and your room is burglarized, don't expect Accra Beach Hotel and Resort to be surprised, sympathetic, or helpful. |

| Allamanda Beach Hotel is a great, quiet place with friendly people and good food. It is also close to bus stops, shopping, and resturants. It is a perfect get away. In addition, now that the board walk is finished, it looks great. | |

I am already planning my next stay. Visited: August 2009 |

| My trip to Barbados became an unforgettable experience thanks to the amazing hospitality and warmth of George and Ann's B&B. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the fresh cut flowers to the delicious multi-course breakfasts (especially the Lemon-Ricotta pancakes!). I can't wait until my next vacation because I know that it will include a stay at Sweetfield Manor. To say the least, the bar has been raised. |

| I stayed at the Barbados Beach Club for vacation, and it was indeed relaxing! I spent a week, and was excited with the treatment I recieved and the way everything was done. The room was very nice, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also, my beachfront room was really spacious, and had a remarkable view of the ocean. I was really impressed. The food was great, and dinner was a delight with the night lights being on and the place looking beautiful. All the meals were wonderfully prepared, and the main restaurant was lovely in terms of decor. There were two other restaurants on site (Italian and seafood), but I only decided to eat at the main one. It was a buffet, and offered a la carte certain nights. The pool and the beach were so nice and relaxing I didn't even want to come out. In addition, the staff was very friendly. If I needed anything, it wasn't a problem. Room service was provided every day, but it was a little late once or twice. I can't wait to go back to this hotel. I already have the date I'm returning planned. Al- inclusive is the way to go, and the best all-inclusive in Barbados is found at the Barbados Beach Club. It was awesome! |

| Sweetfield Manor in Barbados is a true gem in the Caribbean. With lots of charm and history, I felt like I was talking a walk back in time. The house is wonderfully decorated and the grounds are lush and colorful. Anni and George make you feel so welcome. Also, George will greet you with rum punches when you arrive. You never want to leave the table after the gourmet breakfast, either. I can't wait to go back. |

I will definitely be back. Visited: August 2009 |

| Despite Barabdos' hot, hot days, I found myself more than comfortable. There was plenty of shady getaways on the property and cold refreshments (like the Strawberry and basil iced tea Annie makes) - mmm! Also, there was the beautiful, unbelievable pool to cool off in. Being all the way from New England, I was not used to seeing so many hummingbirds. They were just everywhere, and you could get right up close. I can't fail to mention the amazing, five-star food Annie whipped up. It was totally worth the trip - my husband and I are even considering renewing our vows here. It would be the perfect spot for a wedding! But I will definitely be back either way! |

| It was like stepping back into a world of peace and luxury. The endless views and sunsets are to be remembered. The wonderful service and enticing food was worthy of a five-star restaurant. The bedrooms were enchanting and looked out over the sea with the Caribbean breezes wafting through the expansive French doors. Swimming in the pool at midnight, with the fragance of tropical flowers in the air was an experience I will never forget. Brunch under the trees, with tropical sun peeking through was like a picture postcard. My stay here is forever a precious memory. |

| My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in July. We enjoyed every moment. The environment was quiet and serene. The food was on par, but the breakfast menu could use a bit more variety (perhaps offer cereals, like corn flakes). The beach was just steps away, and the supermarket was close by. There were children staying here, but I encountered no noise from them. I really enjoyed it here. |

| What a welcome! We arrived after a long flight from London with our three children to be greeted like long lost friends. George made us delicious rum punches while Ann invited the children into her kitchen to find refreshing lemonade. The home-made zucchini bread was just right, and the lagoon pool, surrounded by colorful tropical plants, birds and monkeys, was exactly what we all needed. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and we fell into our beds feeling like we had indeed arrived in paradise. Ann and George have created a dream, and they looked after us with great kindness and generosity. They are the loveliest hosts you could hope for. Our only complaint was that we had to leave after just one night and an amazing breakfast! |

We experienced security problems - don't go. |

| I stayed at Crystal Cove with my family, and had a number of valuable items (electronic goods) stolen from my room. To cut a long story very short, we ultimately concluded it was an inside job. We'd been out at a sister hotel for dinner when it happened, with the table booked and transport arranged by Crystal Cove. Nothing in our room was disturbed. They just went straight for the valuables - so clearly knew where to find them. The hotel never apologized while we were here, and there was no attempt to make amends or to help us retrieve our things. We insisted the police were called but, once again, the hotel seemed disinterested. Correspondence after our stay went unanswered. My advice - avoid this hotel. |

Sweetfield was beautiful. Visited: March 2009 |

| My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sweetfield Manor for four nights in March, and had a wonderful experience. Both George and Anne were more than accommodating and made our stay a memorable experience. We woke up every day to a gourmet breakfast that was so delicious and filling that we really didn't need to eat again until dinner that night. The Inn was decorated beautifully, and had a gorgeous view of the ocean. Also, the pool and hot tub were surrounded by beautiful landscaping. We truly felt like we were in paradise. This is the only place I will be staying at in Barbados. I will definitely be returning to Sweetfield in the near future. |

It is pretty close to perfect! Visited: May 2009 |

| Having stayed at the apartments before, we knew we were on safe ground. However, the experience just got better. If you ever have to organize a Caribbean wedding on a budget (with ten guests to accommodate and cater for), Sunset Crest is ideal. I know Brett de Gale would never promote himself as a wedding planner. However, the help he gave us, when others let us down in other areas, was just unbelievable. All of the local knowledge, from him and his staff, just can't be found in the guide books. We had three bungalows and a villa, all of immaculate appearance and spotlessly clean. The maid service was unobtrusive, yet thorough (a laundry service was also available), and the office and drivers were unbelievably helpful. Rival Enterprises managed the near impossible in keeping ten people extremely happy from the moment we landed to the time we departed, and that's why we believe it was pretty close to perfect. |

Highly Recommend SeaShells Visited: May 2009 |
|
| Posted by rbbushwe67 | |
| Our stay at SeaShells exceeded our expectations. The beach front villa is beautiful, comfortably furnished both inside and out with easy access to the beach. Having a cook/house keeper made our stay excceedingly relaxing. Swimming in front of the villa has a rocky entrance but, just a short walk down the beach you have a soft sand entrance. The Fish Market next door was the source for most meals - it also made for some great people watching! The villa is on a very busy roadway and there is traffic noise which we thought would make it unpleaant to sit on the patio - however, the sounds and sites of the Caribbean made the traffic noise fade in to the background. If you are so inclined, you can walk to resturants and shops. We found moving from lounge chair to lounge chair all the movement we needed. It was a totally relaxing trip! |

| It is a nice place to stay, away from the outside world. The only problem I have is during the day the rooms are very hot, and there are no fans or air conditioning in the rooms. Besides that, it is a great place to stay. |

I was disappointed. Visited: May 2009 |

| Posted by rehm2000 | |
| The weather was beautiful. The water was gorgeous. The hotel staff needed some attitude adjustments. I did not feel welcomed here. The food was horrible. However, the worst was if you didn't make dinner reservations, you were asked to get up from the table and leave (which was embarrassing). I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I couldn't even get a cup of coffee in the morning. Also, I had on a brand new pair of shorts and sat on chair and got bleach on it. What if i was dressed up? I mentioned it to the desk, and no one even appologized for it. You had to get dressed up to eat every night, but I was afraid to put on anything good for fear it would get destroyed. It was a big waste of money for me. I'm very easy to please, and I thought it was horrible. Don't waste your money. |
