Open to non-residents on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (or by reservation for groups of 4 or more) we offer a selection of home-cooked daily specials, using local seasonal ingredients from the local market and vegetables grown on our farm.
The meals change each day, but feature caribbean-style and international dishes such as calalloo and coconut soup, gingered fish steaks, tamarind shrimp, coconut rum chicken, and banana and walnut gateau.
Our small bar is stocked with local and imported beers, spirits and wines, as well as the juice of the day which could be anything from watermelon to tamarind and banana! Special diets (including diabetic and celiac) can easily be catered for, with advance notice.
Dine on the verandah and listen to the sounds of the jungle, or in the bar for a candelight treat!

At the Chaa Creek restaurant, we combine modern and ‘old fashioned’ cooking techniques with a wide variety of fresh local produce to create innovative and original, mouthwatering meals.
For your breakfast you can start your day light with a selection of tropical fruits and home made yogurt, or join the local habits by eating the more sturdy, refried beans, eggs and freshly prepared tortillas.
For lunch you can choose from our ‘Back a Bush’ Menu with a choice of international dishes like pizzas and pastas joint by some regional favorites like quesadillas and tamales.
Apart from our a la carte menu, starting this October, at dinner time we highly recommend our Chef’s daily changing four course connoisseur menu, which is for many of our guests one of the highlights of the day. Innovative dishes like carrot and ginger soup flavored with orange peel and lemon grass, cho cho and cantaloupe salad with mango and balsamic dressing, or fresh fish filet wrapped in ‘Santa Maria’ leaves sprinkled with lime butter are just a few examples of what you can expect in this menu.
At the end of your day you may want to try a refreshing Sorrel Flower ice tea, our non-alcoholic signature drink. After dinner come over to our verandah bar where you can gaze at the stars and share stories with other guests while sipping on your favorite drink. Our outgoing bartenders will mix delicious tropical cocktails, while they tell you about their passion, their country of Belize and especially their Cayo District.
