Soulshine Resort & Spa is a small intimate resort. It is the only resort in the village of Placencia with the uniqueness of the ability to be located on a private island, yet after crossing a small inlet from the ocean be a five minute walk to the laid back village of Placencia. Also, being situated at the very point of Placencia, you can relax by the only swimming pool in the village and enjoy the breath taking view of the sun setting over the Caribbean sea and the bordering Mayan Mountain Range. The spacious authentic thatched cabanas are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, fresh water, full bath, air-conditioning, various configuration of bedding and a relaxing front porch to sit and watch the world go by. Sit in one of the European spa tubs and watch the sunset over the ocean or enjoy a wonderful massage, facial, nails, wrap and more out by the ocean in the thatched roof, Mexican tiled spa room. The spa technician is internationally trained and experienced in herbs, aromatherapy and Thai massage along with an array of experience. Start your day off with Yoga on the beach!

The restaurant and bar offer a light fare menu during the day and a full course menu in the evening. Meals range from local dishes and seafood to specialty vegetarian. Sip a wonderful glass of wine, or quench your thirst with a icy margarita or fruity Pina Colada. Also, talk with the hotel nutritionist to set you up for a week of specialized dining. Or, try a week with a personal trainer.

The resort offers a beautiful, private beach area with a wonderful view of the Caribbean sea and the southern coast of Belize. The fresh water swimming pool is serviced by the "sunset bar and grill" through out the day.
