Turneffe Island Lodge

Turneffe Island Lodge is located 30 miles off the coast of Belize. The secluded island has been a favorite for fisherman, divers and those looking to relax for over 40 years. The property offers fishing, diving and beachcombing packages for guests on our private Caribbean Island. At the very southern end of the Turneffe Atoll, it is part of the largest reef system in the Western Hemisphere.

This 14-acre island is located among some of the best diving in the world. With over 70 other dive sites within one mile of our resort we are ideally situated for short trips to the dive sites. On Tuesdays guests enjoy full day trips to the Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye. Divers will enjoy our professional staff as they will spoil you by handling all your equipment and our certified dive-masters will point out the abundant sea life in the clear Caribbean waters. We also offer several levels of PADI Scuba certification.

They have also been recognized for over 40 years as one of the top flats fishing lodges in Belize. Permit, Tarpon and Bonefish are readily available and our skilled guides are all local English speaking who are familiar with the fishing flats.

For those looking for something more relaxing than diving and fishing, the property offers a beachcombing package as well. Guests have access to kayaks, sail boats and snorkeling equipment and will enjoy relaxing in one of our several beach side hammocks. They offer 2 guided snorkeling trips per day.

After a full day of Scuba diving, fishing or just relaxing, guests can enjoy home cooked meals, made right from scratch from local Caribbean chefs. All meals are included with your package.
