This is a great place for a destination wedding. Visited: July 2008 |

Destination wedding anyone? To all the couples thinking of having a destination wedding, Table Rock in Belize is the perfect setting.
My husband and I had the most amazing time here. The staff was so accommodating. They helped from the smallest detail of table settings all the way to the major details of legal documents. Without their help and their beautiful property, our wedding would not have been what it was.
The memories that we have from our pre-honeymoon, wedding ceremony, and actual honeymoon will last a lifetime. We cannot wait to return to Table Rock and rediscover ourselves once again! |

Two friends, and my husband and I recently stayed at Table Rock for two nights while on a tour of several Central American countries. It was a highlight of our trip.
The three cabanas we occupied were all beautifully decorated. Each cabana had its own decor, all attractive to both the men and the women. The cabanas were surrounded by landscaping that artfully blended into the surrounding jungle. An orchard greeted us as we entered the property.
The dining area was covered, but open to the air. The food was wonderful, and the service was excellent. The dining area sat atop a hill which led down to the river.
If you're looking for a fantastic place to stay in Belize - this is it! |

Our stay at Table Rock was a most wonderful experience.
It was first class service set in the beautiful rain forest of San Ignacio Belize. This is truly a place to restore your soul.

Take me back to Table Rock! Visited: May 2008 |

I can't wait for my next visit. I've been here twice, and it just gets better.
Colleen and Alan have treated Table Rock with the love and respect it deserves - and it really shows. Everything is done with care - the food, the decor, the planting, and the preservation of the jungle.
I recently recommended some friends to stay here, and they loved it, too - saying it was even more than they had expected from my descriptions.
My only complaint is that Belize is not exactly an easy journey from the UK. However, once you get here, it's completely worthwhile. |

This is a secluded jungle eco-resort. Visited: March 2008 |

This eco-resort was built by the hands of its owners. The only sounds in this quiet secluded resort belong to the jungle life surrounding you in your lovely cabana.
The owners will personally see to your choices of local adventures, your personal dining desires, and help you understand the preservation of this natural paradise.
Here, you will be treated like a friend - and not just a tourist passing through!

My wife and I shared a fabulous week at Table Rock.
The cabanas were terrific, very clean, and very comfortable. Our hosts, Colleen and Alan, were fanastic! They were extremely thoughtful and accommodating to their guests.
The food was excellent! Fresh fruit and local ingredients were prepared to perfection! The setting was idyllic. It was in the jungle, but had all the comforts of home. It was right on the Macal River.
We really had a great trip, and highly recommend it to anyone. |

We were given Table Rock's name from a bed and breakfast in Caye Caulker. We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the Cabañas were. The scenery was amazing, and the location was peaceful and quiet.
The hosts were very inviting, and made our stay a wonderful experience.
Also, the food was very tasty. We enjoyed canoeing on the river, and doing some light hiking. At night, we spent time visiting with Colleen, Alan and other guests as we listened to the jungle come alive. It was great.
We would definitely go back and stay here again. |

I rediscovered myself at Table Rock. Visited: November 2007 |

Our days at Table Rock were a true fulfillment of their motto of “Rediscover Yourself”. I needed real “down time”, and being disconnected from my electronic leash. Both were met during our stay with Colleen and Alan, the Table Rock owners.
Time, in either the hammocks down in the Hammock Cabana or the air chairs on our Mot-Mot Room porch with a good book, was very well spent. As was swimming in the crystal clear Macal River on which Table Rock has over 2000 feet of frontage.
Also, their gravel bar beach was a great place for viewing flocks of parrots as they flew overhead. At Table Rock, we were constantly absorbed by nature.
Each and every meal was a delight, with a Belizean flavor. In addition to the good food, the dining experience was heightened by their high, thatched roofed open-air dining room and lounge. We had views of the jungle out three, wall-less sides, with the stone-backed bar on the fourth. Stepping out onto the attached deck also provided a breath-taking view of the river below.
Our desire to explore a Mayan ruin was satisfied by traveling minutes to San Ignacio Town’s Cahal Pech restoration. We were able to climb the temple grounds uninhibited by restrictive barriers, and the interpretive center provided additional background to enhance our appreciation of Mayan culture. We were able to leisurely tour the ruins and still get back to our cabana with time left for visiting Table Rock’s resident donkeys.

Table Rock is a rain forest gem! It boasts the best of both worlds--the idyllic peacefulness of the jungle and the opportunity for wild adventure. I enjoyed both during my recent stay.
The well-appointed thatched cabanas were very comfortable - while still affording the true rain forest experience. I enjoyed tubing, canoing and swimming in the clear Macal River that borders the property. I was challenged by hiking adventures throughout their 100-acre preserve.
Our hosts, Colleen and Alan, were very gracious and knowledgeable, and treated me like family rather than a guest. They provided delicious meals, and arranged for tours to both local (Cahal Pech, Laminai, Rio on Pools) and distant (Tikal, Guatemala) Mayan ruins and points of interest. All were fabulous!
From quiet early morning birdwatching with fresh hot coffee, to late night "listening safaris" (howler monkeys, ocelots, kinkajoos) with a cocktail from the bar, this vacation scored as my favorite, and I would recommend it to everyone. |

Table Rock is perfect! Visited: September 2007 |

Our hosts, Colleen and Alan, provided us with a full and authentic experience, with care taken over small details. Colleen was able to cater for the last-minute discovery that I am vegetarian, for example!
Trips were organized for us - to Tikal, for example, which represented a good value for money. Table Rock itself was a delight, complete with jungle walks, fauna and flora, and access to the river.
The fortnight went way too fast, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! |
