We are located in the western jungles of beautiful Belize and all cabins and cabanas are privately nestled in the jungle.The location is prime for sightseeing as we are within close proximity to Maya sites, San Ignacio town, butterfly farm, botanical gardens, caves, waterfalls and much The property is a 50 acre nature reserve with approximately 4 acres of manicured gardens in a park like setting. We have another approx. 3 miles of nature trails leading to our river frontage on the pristine Macal river. Situated in the Macal River Valley, we are surrounded by the magificent Maya Mountains affording many spectacular views. River activities abound,tubing, swimming, fishing, snorkling, canoeing There is an abundance of wildlife in the area allowing for some especially excellent bird watching. Sightings of the Keeled Billed Toucan, Violaceous Trogon, Grey Necked Woodrail and many more of the more than 400 species found in Belize are common. There are also many mammals and reptiles sighted on a regular basis. We also feature a beautifully appointed open air thatched roof restaurant serving the finest cuisine using locally grown products.Bicycles and tubes are also available for sightseeing and touring the immediate area. Also available for your shopping pleasure is a gift shop featuring local and Maya handicrafts. You will not be disappointed for choosing our unique lodge, truly a one of a kind jungle oasis for those desiring a respite from modernity. We are geared more toward the independent travellor, but would be delighted to assist in pointing out areas of particular interest and natural beauty.
