We just returned from one week at Changes in Latitudes. We booked the trip online as a flight-hotel package, and were not sure what to expect other than some favorable reviews.
Well, those reviews did not do the place justice. The owners, Renita and Cindy, are transplanted midwesterners who welcomed us as best friends when we arrived. From that point on, they did all that they could to make sure our stay was as adventurous or as laid-back as we wanted. It was concierge service that cannot be surpassed by any resort.
Each day started with a delicious breakfast and ended with a cool Belikin beer in the courtyard. The location was ideal. It was just a few yards from the beach, and a short walk to the center of town.
We plan on going back as soon as we can. |

Every room was booked with a couple from a different country - what an experience. This made for an interesting trip, as we shared stories of our Belize Adventures of Cave Tubing or Ziplining with others who took the Ruins Tour or the Blue Hole Diving Adventure.
The Inn was great. It was small and quiet. The innkeepers had several nights of appetizers and drinks of dirty bananas for us all to enjoy while we sat around the courtyard sharing.
The rooms were small, but they had everything we needed. We appreciated the dive lockers, the free bikes, beach towels, and all the other little extras that made it so great.
We would recommend letting the innkeepers book all your tours. They were not kidding when they said they will spoil you. We didn't have to lift a finger or think at all. We simply lounged in the hammocks and awaited our next adventure.
We hope to go back in 2010 when our son is old enough to travel with us. I recommend Changes In Latitudes |

Wow, what a nice place. We awakened each morning to a great breakfast. Also, while eating, we made lots of new friends (other guests) who were from all parts of the world.
We went snorkeling with Lil' Alphonse, and held the sharks. We also enjoyed the free bikes. Most of all, we enjoyed Cindy and Renita, as they were great hosts.
We'll go back and stay at CIL - as they call it. And next time, we'll feed the crocks. |

| Every morning you will awaken to the aroma of a hot Belizean Breakfast, fresh locally grown fruits, sweet breads, coffee and juices. The breakfast menu changes each day, so the experience in food is as exciting as the adventures on the island. Caribbean Courtyard... |
