Granaway Guest House & Cottages - Bermuda

"Granaway, an elegant manor house built in 1734, looks out on "Granaway Deep" and the sparsely inhabited islands scattered throughout the Great Sound. "Granaway Deep" was a prime anchorage for the privateers in the 18th and 19th centuries and Granaway, as well as several other stately waterfront homes, was used as a storeroom for the "booty."

Share a taste of the past with us at Granaway where along with old cedar beams there are now modern conveniences such as private bathrooms and air conditioning or heat in all rooms. The main house has five guest rooms where a continental breakfast of freshly baked muffins and fresh fruit is served daily with antique silver and Herend china on Bermuda cedar trays.

Special features at Granaway include a luxurious garden where guests may choose to enjoy breakfast. The elegant swimming pool is surrounded by lush tropical foliage where one may be lulled by the sounds of the fountain. There is also a waterside patio and swimming area excellent for an early morning dip, snorkeling and barbequing and stargazing.
