We went to Guana Island for a family vacation with our 10 year old and 13 year old and every one in the family loved it. I recomed it for familys with nice adventrus and resondables melow kids but if you have any small children or the have lots of energy and exept something more like atlantis. (a huge and completely man made water park) I also recomed it for romance and want to get away. another reasoon why I loved it is that it was so huge that most places you went you felt you had the Island to your self. The staff was also very nice they really made us feel at home. The kids loved it becouse they always found something to do, sometimes it was exploring or sometimes it wa water skiing or wind surfing or even scuba diving. I recomend Guana Island and if you went there I bet you would too. |

We chose Guana Island for our honeymoon, and could not have been happier. After our first ten minutes on beautiful White Bay Beach, we knew we picked the right spot.
The service, the food, and the accommodations were all superb. The island was peaceful and beautiful. There was an abundance of wildlife to add to the experience. We really enjoyed the abundance and variety of birds. The rock iguanas were rather impressive as well.
It felt more like a retreat than a resort. Here, you go at your own pace. The resort managers, Bridgit and Roger, could not have been nicer. We felt we made some friends on Guana. |

A wonderfully quiet retreat - no tv's, no nightlife but excellent food and service. Everything's included except beverages and any side excursions, and I especially liked the no-tipping policy and the beautiful private beach.
Cottages are hillside and not beachfront, dinners are family style, although you can request private dining. There are many repeat customers who love the quiet solitude of the place.
Not recommended for families with young children or those looking for any kind of nightlife. Highly recommended for anyone who truly wants to get away from it all.
