We had a grand time. Visited: August 2009 Posted by dneder1309 Two adult friends, my 22-year-old son and I vacationed in the BVI and stayed at Summer Heights. We could not have had a better place to stay. The villa was outstanding and clean. The owners were friendly, too. Their recommendations were right on. They were able to not only get us power boat for the day, but a very knowledgeable young captain. I highly recommend Summer Heights. Visited: May 2009 Posted by ting_i_h10 Summer Heights is a beautiful residence. The rooms were all very clean with large comfortable king sized beds and an amazing view of the ocean. We were there for 7 nights (8 days) and the owners are very hospitable and extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do. The rooms were all very large, comfortable and clean, and the kitchen/living room/dining area accommodated all 9 of us easily. Couldn't have picked a better place. Visited: May 2009 Posted by ms4246 We had the opportunity to spend a week at Summer Heights. We could not have chosen a better place. The villa is warm and inviting, and Barry and Roz are great hosts. The villa is located up on a hill with unobstructed views of the ocean and surrounding islands. The pictures really don't do the place justice. The views were simply breathtaking. The house is quiet and the only thing you hear is the gentle ocean. It is also a short drive away from some of the best beaches in Tortola and the town center. Each of the bedrooms also had an incredible view. The rooms also had nice comfortable beds, clean linens, and their own private bathrooms. This made it really easy for our party of 9. This house is very, very clean. I'm quite particular about cleanliness and it met my expectations. There is a big kitchen with everything necessary to cook a nice meal and a great table outside to enjoy it on. The pool was great to relax in after a day of running around. We felt completely at home. Both Barry and Roz were very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a enjoyable stay. Roz even called to check on our car rental and to ensure that we had reserved a suitable car. What a view! Visited: May 2009 Posted by foreverr70 After an adventurous ride up the mountain, we fell in love with the place as soon as we opened the front gate. It was so big, luxurious, clean, and the view is so incredible - you have a panoramic view of the opposing island line with perfectly blue water. The house has everything too, from board games, novels, videos/dvds to float/beach balls for the pool. There are new things to discover in every cabinet, drawer, and shelf. We spent quite a few evenings enjoying our home cooked dinners, chatting on the patio tables, then retreating indoors for a movie. What a Vacation! Visited: December 2008 Posted by brewski This house is absolutely wonderful! The owner's are the perfect hosts! Our group (8 total) spent 7 wonderful days on vacation, and thankfully a member of our group found Summer Heights on the web and recommended it. The owner cooked up some very delicious meals (I highly recommend the meal plan), and their recommendations for things to do on the island and surrounding islands were perfect. The views from the house are simply breath taking, we watched the sun rise every morning. I don't think I could ever get sick of that! We will definitely be going back, as the rental for what you get at Summer Heights is as reasonable as it gets!! Summer Heights boasts the best views on Tortola. Visited: November 2008 Posted by dchaney If you are looking for the place with the best views on the island, Summer Heights is it! There is lots of outdoor living space. They also have a fully stocked bar and even breakfast food in the refrigerator upon arrival. It's centrally located, yet totally secluded. It is perfect for four couples or a family with kids (like us) with the four master suites. Each kid had their own room. Summer Heights provided a stunning view with outstanding creature comforts Visited: February 2006 Posted by basketbh We have stayed in other hotels on Tortola before, but this outdid them all. The bedrooms were nice, with private baths in each. There was a big kitchen and great room with internet access and a CD player. It also had a private pool. The view was stunning from everywhere in the villa. There were no homes within the view. A rental car is needed for access.
