It was the "Ritz-Carlton" of Tortola! Visited: July 2004 Posted by Tonigator We spent eight nights at this magical place. Upon arrival, I could not believe the view! The pictures were amazing, but actually being at Frenchman's was another story. I could not believe I was actually experiencing this beauty. The villa was very private. The house staff was probably the best I have ever experienced. I looked forward to seeing Clarence and Gloria in the morning. I have rented a lot of different villas, and this one was not like any other. The convenience of the computer and the laundry were second to none. Gloria, the housekeeper, made sure that we had fresh, crisp sheets every day. And Clarence made sure that anything we needed was taken care of. This was the best way to enjoy a BVI holiday. I booked for next summer while we were halfway through our week. The property manager, J.C., went above and beyond to make our stay unforgetable! It does not get any better than Frenchman's Lookout. Visited: July 2004 Posted by tjpdvm We have stayed here three times in the past year and have enjoyed each nine-day stay. The views of the channel and US Virgin Islands are wonderful. The house is easy to relax in, and well appointed. Our favorite area is the pool and nearby gas grill and refrigerator. The entire day can be spent outside enjoying the sun and the constant trade winds. We have been coming to Tortola for ten years, three times a year, and have fallen in love with this house. Visited: May 2004 Posted by pbussey This villa was truly much more than that - it was an estate with the amenities and staff that would rival anywhere in the world. The views at the house were spectacular, and the property and inside of the house were perfectly maintained and comfortable. This has to be one of the best places to just lie by the pool or in a hammock and do nothing. As the other reviews indicated, the staff - Gloria, Clarence and J.C. - went out of their way to make our trip very memorable. The location of the house was also great. We were only about one minute from Soper's Hole, and less than ten minutes to multiple world class beaches. J.C. can arrange anything that you would like to do - from a boat trip around the islands to big game fishing off the drop.
