It was paradise - absolutely beautiful. Visited: February 2002 Posted by zoegilbert We travelled with two other couples. Mango Bay Resort was idyllic. Our days were spent on the beach, swimming, snorkeling, and reading. We also drove to Leverick Bay and went parasailing. What fun it was! One day we spent on a sailing around the Dogs on a schooner. We all live in New York City, and it was just wonderful to get away and truly relax. Everyone was so nice. Visited: March 2001 Posted by denisweimer This was one of those places that when you pass by you say to yourself: "Wow, I wish I had the means to stay in a place like that". Imagine my surprise when, after saying this to myself, the cab driver turned in and told me this was my stop! For having picked this one out of a hat, I must say I was very shocked. Thank you, wheretostay.com! The accomodations were spacious and very nice. The staff was incredibly friendly (best I met in the Virgin Islands, save Anegada where they nearly adopted me), and the atmosphere was just divine. My room (actually the size of my place in the states) had a full kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom, lots of closets, an outdoor shower and barbecue grill and a patio with furniture for eight - the works. It was just a couple of steps to the beach, where the snorkling and free kayaking was excellent.For the price I paid, it was the best deal I found on the whole trip. Auto rental was accomplished right at the front office, and the car was delivered to my door within the hour. Watch those dirt roads north of the hotel, the one-wheel drive Suzukis they rented were useless when you get the one wheel off the ground! I am planning on returning many times. In fact, I'm considering bringing back a party of 24 for a swimsuit calendar photoshoot this year.
