We had another great week in Paradise! Visited: May 2004 |

After this thirrd trip to Paradise Beach Resort on Virgin Gorda, we are ready to go back again! Our vacation group occupied the two beach front units and one ocean view unit. The accommodations were just what we wanted.
The kitchen was fully operational and the new BBQ was used frequently. Stepping off the front deck and into the calm, clear waters of Mahoe Bay was unique. Once again, we became snorkeling and kayaking fanatics.
Victor, a good friend, made sure that our stay was trouble free. He also arranged for a last minute trip for our group to Anegeda. We declined only because we wanted a larger boat, which wasn't available that day.
We explored the island in our jeeps(included in the villa rental) and still didn't get to all the places we wanted to see. Next time we go, it will be a ten-day vacation.
If you want peace and quiet and privacy in the tropics, Paradise Beach Resort is a great choice. Don't forget to visit Spring Bay after 3:00 pm. You then might have this glorious beach, waters and huge boulders all to yourself, as our group did.
Leverick Bay was also a great place to visit as well. There you can rent small boats with an outboard and scoot out to the Bitter End resort. We lucked out and were there for a superb brunch.
No matter what other beach we went to, we always looked forward to our return to our private beach and just enjoy the serenity of PBR.
The nightlife is here if you want it. Check out the Bath & Turtle, the Mine Shaft and the Rock Cafe. Finally, just kick back and watch the beautiful sunsets off your front patio and relax. |

Paradise Beach offers simple accommodations in a fabulous location. Visited: July 2003 |

Wow, what a location! It was right on a beautiful, protected beach with few neighbors and great snorkeling. It was wonderful for children.
The cooking facilities definitely needed work - only one of four burners on stoves (in each of five separate units we stayed in) actually worked, making cooking difficult. Other maintenance items could use some work, but it was nevertheless quite comfortable.
Paradise Beach is for those who want a laid back, very casual atmosphere on a sleepy island in the sea. |

A wonderful and quiet resort with a great beach. Visited: March 2003 |

This was our first trip to the Caribbean. Paradise Beach had beautiful beaches, snorkeling and swimming. Often, we were the only people on the beach.
Victor, the owner, went out of his way to arrange day trips and advise us on customs and the best activities. The rental included a jeep which was necessary to get around the island.
This would not be the place to go if you want crowds and busy activity, but it would be perfect for a first or second honeymoon. |

We loved the resort for its location on Mahoe Bay. It was right on the beach. The bay was protected by reefs, so there was great swimming, snorkeling, kayaking,...we could go on and on.
They had a very friendly staff, beautiful gardens, and comfortable villas. If you're looking for a more relaxed, laid back vacation, this is the place.
The island was beautiful, too. The scenery, the small town and shops, and the beaches were all fabulous. It was pretty darn close to paradise. We will definitely be coming back. |

My boyfriend and I stayed at the secluded Paradise Beach Resort for ten days. We had done quite a lot of research on the hotel and many others before deciding. There were no surprises.
Our one room villa was directly on the beach, and just perfect! The accommodations were somewhat modest, but we were prepared. Although the bed wasn't the best, we've never slept better. The bedroom had air conditioning, and the rest of the space can be opened to enjoy the tropical breezes. The sunsets and views of distant islands are breathtaking!
We also loved the fact that a Jeep was included in the rate. We were able to explore the whole island during our time. The hotel also provides snorkeling gear, sea kayaks and rafts. The grounds are covered with lush tropical flowers. Also, the outdoor showers are great for washing off the sand and salt. As with all Caribbean Islands, there are biting bugs that come out in the evening; we used Avon SkinSoSoft wipes and were not bothered.
There are great restaurants on VG, but we also enjoyed cooking meals in our kitchen and on the grill. If you choose PBR, ask for unit #15, it's the best! P.S. Say, "Hi" to George for us!

Paradise Beach is simple and secluded and perfectly set on Virgin Gorda's best beach on Maho Bay. Our family of two adults and two small children enjoyed the mellow bay for swimming and snorkeling and loved the kayaks that came gratis! Virgin Gorda is great for exploring. Each day you can jump in the Jeep that comes with your villa and check out all kinds of great beaches, towns and trails. It's a quiet island, so bring your own entertainment. |

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The villas were in a great location and had the privacy of being isolated. The jeeps that came in the rentals allowed us to travel around the island so that we didn't feel isolated. The location was great. This was a great place to go if you didn't mind feeling isolated and if you planned on not having anything to do at night.
The problem with the resort was that the power on the island occasionally goes down and there were really bad bugs in the area that bit in the afternoons and at night.
The accommodations were a bit rustic but comfortable.

| Sensationally simple. That's what this island and this villa resort is all about. For the only clothing requirements here are comfortable swimsuits, and the only night life remotely qualifying as "hot" are dinners of spicy West Indian cuisine. Paradise Beach Resort lies on the western... |
