This was the most romantic bungalow ever! Visited: September 2006 Posted by umberto When we walked into Shans, it took my breath away at how romantic the house was. We had searched for months for the perfect little hide away. Wos - did we ever find it! We stayed during the slow season, so only a few restaurants were open on the whole island. If you want a place just to get away from it all with little to do except spend time with the one you love - this is the place for you. Every time we went to the beach - no matter what beach - we found we were the only people on that beach. All the beaches were beautiful, but Smugglers Cove was the most beautiful beach. We were the only ones on the beach and a man would come about 12:00 every day and set up a little bar right there on the beach and served us drinks all afternoon. Smugglers Cove was hard to get to, but well worth the drive. You have to rent a car no matter what. Do that the first day. We loved Shans Bungalow so much we are going back again in the fall.
