A Tortola, BVI travel review
I don't recommend Dell's Car Rental.

They do not maintain their vehicles. The one I rented broke down shortly after renting it. They gave me a hard time returning it, and charged my card for the rental anyway.
Also, their staff was rude and abusive to me. They even berated my wife with comments. I highly recommend staying as far away from them as possible.

What a spot! The Heritage Inn delivered on that statement - the views were wonderful.
It was a quaint hotel with a warm heart. I needed this vacation, and Chris was great (she may not know it, but she help me at a bad time in my life). Her staff was out of this world. They made my stay special. They will be in my heart for life. (Thanks, Spicey, for the recipe!)
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and they served great food at the Bananakeet Cafe. You can't go wrong here.
If we ever get back to BVI, there's no question it's the Heritage Inn.

We had an excellent time at Fort Recovery.
Pamelah was most helpful with assisting us in getting everything organized for our wedding in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.
We hope to come back soon.

Before we traveled to the BVIs, we relied on sites such as this in making decisions regarding accommodation. In every case, they were accurate - except for Fort Recovery.
Reality was far from the posted reviews and marketing info. We found it to be very noisy, as it is only metres from the main 'highway'.
The beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever encountered, and noise from air-conditioning units made it impossible to turn them on at night.
Also, the 'beach' was very poor, and the dock was half-finished.
It was definitely over-priced for the value and location. The BVIs are beautiful, and we will return....but not to Fort Recovery.
