The location right by the airport was a big plus. Simon was very helpful, and he had very friendly staff.
We stayed the night before we had to leave on a 7:00 am flight, and it worked out beautifully. It was in a great location, was reasonably priced, and a great bar/restaurant (De Loose Mongoose) were part of the Guest House.
There was also free computer access for all patrons. There was no air conditioning, but a cool breeze in our room made it comfortable. We would certainly recommend it, and we will be back!

Once again, Caroline and Simon proved to be caring and gracious hosts. Along with their friendly staff, great food and drink, the Guest House was a terrific place to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the BVI.
Rose makes the best lobster in the area.
We are repeat guests, and always come away with good feelings after our stay.
During our next trip to the BVI, we shall return.

We stayed for a couple of days after a charter trip. It was great. As we arrived, we asked where to check in, and the young lady said "You're here, you're in!". That about sums up this place.
It was super casual and the hosts were very hospitable. Rosie, in the kitchen, was everybodys "aunt", and she cooked like a dream!
The beach was beautiful and we could walk to some island Bohemian shopping right on the water.
This was a gem of a B & B .

Breakfast guests were left to fend for themselves. W found cold, stale muffins in a guest fridge. There was no coffee, we had no host, and there was no phone to call a cab.
In addition, there was trash all over beach and property. Also, there was loud music until late at night.
We experienced a very disengaged and unfriendly host.

We are the owners of a charter yacht in Tortola, and when we fly in from the states, the Beef Island Guest House is a perfect solution to our needs before our boat is available.
It is great for anytime arrival, but even better for those late night arrivals or very early morning departures, as it is in walking distance of the airport.
The rooms are spacious, and the beds are the best we have slept in - in any hotel we have visited.
Breakfast, being part of the deal, makes it easy in the a.m. before heading over to our boat. DeLoose Mongoose restaurant has great food and super drinks at the bar.
The entire place has become our day or night stop favorite since finding it. Caroline and Simon are most gracious hosts and work hard to be sure everyone is happy. Great job, guys!

We spent more than 12 hours traveling through airports to finally arrive on Tortola prior to chartering our bareboat catamaran.
This is without doubt the best place to stay - minutes from the airport, very large and comfortable rooms right on the beach, a fabulous restaurant and bar on the property, and lovely hosts - Caroline and Simon.
The value for your money can't be beat, and our experience was everything we hoped for. We shall return!

The Beef Island Guest House is a great place to stay. Simon and Caroline are great hosts. The house is very nice. The restaurant is great. I highly recommend people consider it for their next trip to the BVI!

After seven days of sailing, we stayed at this little hole in the wall off the beaten path on the east end of Tortola. The place was perfect for a last night on island to shower, relax and reflect.
The rooms were clean and in good repair. The caretakers were very accommodating and friendly; Simon and Caroline ran a great little guest house.
We will return before or after our next charter in the BVIs!

This was a great place to relax and enjoy the beginning or end of your stay in the BVI. Food and service was outstanding, and the lobster was the best in the area.
Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Caroline and Simon were warm and pleasant hosts.
Beef Island Guest House is one of the hidden secrets in the BVI.
This was our second visit to the guest house and we will return on our next vacation to the BVI.

We had an early flight to catch the next day, so we figured this would be a good place to crash. Wow, this was quite a find!
It was a great place, with great people, food and fun. Our two-year- old loved every minute of it. Say "hi" to Sandra, Rosie and Yvonne in the kitchen/bar for us.

I am not the one to brag about my place, but from a point of view geting to know the coustmers they really enjoyed it. I think it is very convenieant being close to the sir port, and although I am not allowed to drive the guests to the air port it is all good (i think it is a plus for you guys though because i enjoy it). But anywho it is nice being close to the beach and everything. I believe the food is excellent, (the guest house is right by the resturaunt) we have excellent cook (rose, and mary) and it is very authentic cultural food, I believe you would enjoy it. We stayed here after our charter for two nights. While nothing fancy, it was down to earth and very clean.
What really made the place work was the managers - the husband and wife team of Caroline and Simon. They made us feel very welcomed and treated us like one of the family.
The food was great, as well. Our next visit will be for an extended stay.

We started and ended our 14-day vacation at the Guest House. It was a perfect place to get adjusted after 12-hour travel from San Francisco.
The owners and managers were present, and were very nice people. We enjoyed our stay. We left, got on the boat and sailed for 12 days. And we returned to stay the night before leaving for San Francisco on a long 16 hours of travel. It was so nice to be there after 12 days on the boat.
The food was the best in the entire British Virgin Islands, and the staff was, by far, the friendliest. It was nice to rest on the beach, and the service was amazing. I would return any time.

We stayed at this wonderful guest house the night prior to our ten-day bareboat charter (as well as the night after). It was in a convenient location close to the airport, which was nice after a long day of travel.
The rooms were very clean, and the house had a warm and cozy feel to it. The Mongoose Bar and Restaurant was also located on the property and they served excellent meals prepared by Rosa.
We really enjoyed our stay. Chris and Maryann (the owners) were here during our stay and were outstanding hosts. Chris had some great stories about the islands, as well as about life in general. I spent quite of bit of time talking with him and learned quite a bit.
This is going to be a must-stop for us on all our future trips.

What a great place to spend a night!Visited: August 2002

We did not want to lose a day at our Resort in Virgin Gorda, by spending a whole day traveling, so we decided to travel late the night before and spend the night here until the boat picked us up the next early afternoon.
This place was perfect for a one-day stop on the way in or way out. Also, if you are paying $300 bucks a night at your fancy resort, and you show up really late the first night, what a waste! Just spend the night here for like a $100 bucks.
It was very nice and quiet, and Chris and Mary Ann were very nice people.

We stayed at this wonderful guest house while island hopping the British Virgin Islands. The house was great, the food was fantastic.
This was a small guest house, but it was definitely a "do not miss". The water was crystal clear, and you can take a stroll down the long beach anytime!
