Each time we go to Virgin Gorda (six times now), we go to the Mine Shaft Cafe. The food and drinks are always great, the staff is very friendly, and the sunsets are gorgeous. This past week we had dinner here twice. They offer lobster on Monday and ribs on Tuesday. Eating outside while watching the sunset and wearing shorts and sandals while it snowed and sleeted back home in upstate New York works for me! |

This is such a fun place! They have live music most nights, and the piano player is incredible. The group is a mixture between people off of the boats and the other tourists on the island. The food is okay, but they have a nice atmosphere. It is definitely a place to visit at night. |

This place has a fun atmosphere and a beautiful view of the island. It is a casual restaurant, but the food is outstanding! The service is prompt, and the prices are reasonable. The local island people dine here, too, so it is not a tourist trap. |

This is one of the few fine dining restaurants on the island. The food is tasty, and the atmosphere is beautiful. It is definitely one of the best on Virgin Gorda. The lunch menu is nice, and you can find something for everyone. The dinner is to die for, and they have a nice wine menu. |

Take the Biras Creek ferry from Gun Creek to the Fat Virgin. It is a casual bar/restaurant. They have good food and service - in a beautiful setting. |

It was not great, either. The last time we were here (two years ago), it was excellent. This time we were disappointed. They served less than great food at great cost. |
