The most direct way to arrive to the BVI is via San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU). Frequent connecting service is offered by American Eagle, Air SunShine and Cape Air, with occasional service by other airlines and charter flights. If you arrive via St. Thomas (STT), you can connect via Air Sunshine to Tortola, Virgin Gorda, or Anegada. You can also take one of the frequent ferries that travel between downtown Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook, St. Thomas and Tortola.
Tortola - Beef Island Airport (EIS); No airport in the BVI's is large enough for big jets except EIA, so most International flights must come through St.Thomas, San Juan, or St. Martin.
Virgin Gorda - you can fly DIRECT to Virgin Gorda from San Juan.
US$20 by air, $5 by sea, $7 for cruise ship passengers
On the left - International Driver's license required for car rentals
