We just got back from our 30th stay at the Retreat at Rum Point. If you're looking for total relaxation on your vacation, this is the place.
The condo we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous, and had everything we could possibly need. It was just steps to the beach, and there was great snorkeling right in front of our condo.
Robert, the manager, and the staff went out of their way to make sure our vacation was perfect. A secluded beach and beautiful blue water, with awesome views, are my idea of paradise, and this place had it all. We can't wait to go back in the fall. |

This place was truly outstanding. Robert, the manager, could not have been more helpful.
There were several fine restaurants within an easy drive. Take the snorkeling trip to Stingray City on boat at Rum Point Club next door. We are going back next year. |

My wife and I, and our children (in their 20s) with their girl/boy friends spent a wonderful relaxed vacation.
It was far from the hustle and bustle of the Georgetown tourists, with outstanding snorkeling off the beach at the Retreat. It was a great resort on a spectacular spit of land at the end of Grand Cayman. We enjoyed the snorkeling, stingray city, tennis, grilling out at the condo as well as some excellent meals at local restaurants. |

The Retreat at Rum Point is clean, beautifully decorated, with all the amenities that you need and more.
It is secluded, yet right next door to Rum Point Public Beach with live music, a resturant, a dive shop that rents wave runners, snorkeling trips and String ray City tours. Also, right across North Sound is Seven Mile Beach, which is a 30 minute ride by ferry.
This is the best place on the island. |

A beautiful location but let down by the attitude of manager Visited: March 2002 |

The location is stunning and the beach wonderful. We stayed for 12 nights with our 2 children and we all loved the beach bar and of course the beach. Unfortunately the accomodation was not quite so successful. Each condo is individually owned and therefore there is a vast difference in decor and furnishings. We were not impressed with the management of the facility especially when we had a major problem with cockroaches in our condo. They promised us many things for our young children (a high chair, crib and vcr) before we arrived but none were there when we did get there after a long flight and did not appear for a number of days. Not satisfactory with a baby and 2 year old. We have returned to the location but not to this accomodation. |

I spent ten days at Retreat at Rum Point. If it's peace and quiet and seclusion that you’re looking for, the condos at the Retreat can't be beat! The staff is wonderful, the condos are beautiful and steps from the beach. There's a restaurant, bar and watersports right next door. There’s a great view, surrounded by water. The Retreat is the perfect place to stay if you want to just kick back and relax. |
