We enjoyed fabulous beach and sunsets...but not the animals. Visited: February 2006 Posted by karen2748 The 550 feet of beach gave us so much room to spread out. It was nothing like the Westin or new Ritz! The only minus was the amount of cats and dogs roaming 24/7. We weren't advised of this prior to arriving. I don't like to vacation with dogs or cats around. I wouldn't have booked had I known, and we couldn't change once on the island. Visited: April 2001 Posted by emma_boa You may not believe it when you hear that Silver Sands is Cayman’s best kept secret, but let me tell you now - it certainly isn't a lie. One of its features that most struck me was the beach. Whilst most beachfront hotels/condo's on the 7-Mile Beach have a small stretch of beach, not only does Silver Sands’ beach have substantial depth, the beautiful white sands stretch remarkably further than its competitors. The pool is kept in brilliant condition, and all the residents and guests are cheerful, friendly, and always willing to lend a hand--whether you need extra volleyball players, or help cooking a BBQ under the lit gazebo.
