The best choice in Cayman for your vacation. Visited: October 2002 |

It was our honeymoon and it was the best imaginable hotel that we could have stayed at. Once we arrived, they welcomed us by name and with a glass of wine. We had an ocean view from our room. And everything within 10 minutes in all directions. I recommend them 100%. |

I first found out about Turtle Nest Inn right here on wheretostay.com.
I am very glad to have chosen this location for our honeymoon stay. It was quiet, peaceful, and a little secluded being in Bodden Town. It had the advantages of being close to Georgetown, about 10 minute drive. The owners were top notch and very polite. They were non-intrusive, but willing to offer help and advice for the newcomer, as well as offering flippers, a mask, and snorkel if you need it.
There was a place to buy beer around the corner, and a restaurant about 7 minute walk away.
The beach at Turtle Nest Inn was much more raw and natural than the finely groomed Seven Mile Beach. There were a variety of corals, both staghorn and elkhorn, as well as massive brain corals and lots of gorgonians.
Watch out for Baracudda and Devil Rays, but don't let them frighten you too much.
All in all, Turtle Nest Inn was the diamond in the sand that you have been looking for! Thanks Alain and Marleine! |

This place was so great. The best part was the snorkeling right off their beach.
The view from the rooms was also great. The rooms were extremely clean. The owners also manage it, and they were awesome.
You'll need to rent a car, but driving wasn't bad.

We stayed mid-May 2002 - it was a great pick!
It was close to East End and West Bay Diving. The snorkling right at the inn was just about the best we have ever seen. The owners were sweet and helpful. You feel like you are at a Bed and Breakfast, but you have a full kitchen/apartment.
The view was beautiful and their twice-a-week terrace dinners were not to be missed. Turtle Inn was quiet and secluded with a great pool and deck and always a breeze to cool you down and keep the bugs away.
A highly recommended stay! |

We stayed at Turtle Nest Inn for the second time in the summer of 2001. We were booked for 8 days, and no more than a few minutes after entering the lobby booked for 2002 for 15 days. This is a fantastic place for a very laid-back vacation. The owners could not be more helpful and less instrusive. It's a real find. |

This was our second visit to the Turtle Nest Inn and we will be back again next year! The setting is perfect, the rooms are spacious, squeaky clean, and beautiful. The Inn sits on a beautiful beach with incredible views, and has a relaxing pool, and great snorkeling. It's away from the crowds and we always meet the nicest people. We have never come home more relaxed! |

I just got back from my first trip to Grand Cayman and had a wonderful time. My wife and I stayed at a lovely little inn in Bodden Town. It was like a second honeymoon. The inn is new and only has 9 units, all of which have a full kitchen. This allows considerable savings, since you don't have to eat out all the time. It is located right on the beach with excellent snorkeling available right there. The inn is fantastic and the owners are friendly and personable. The owner offers dinner at the inn on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Tuesday is seafood and Friday is Indian cuisine. These dinners are not to be missed. It likely will be the best meal you have while your'e there. My wife and I had dinner and a bottle of champagne for $73.00 US. For Grand Cayman, this price for this meal is a steal. We dove with Ocean Frontiers on the East End and they did an excellent job. The coral reef appeared to be pristine on the East End. The other divers on the boat with Ocean Frontiers dove on the West Wall and they were impressed by how much better the East End diving was. |

Turtle Nest Inn is a little gem on a little island in the middle of the Caribbean. If you're looking for lots of hustle and bustle, crowded beaches, and loads of tourists, don't come to Turtle Nest Inn. IF, however, you're looking for incomparable hospitality and warmth, a small intimate setting away from crowded beaches (not to mention a 5 minute walk from a hole-in-the-wall with some of the best food on the island, "The Edge"), then Turtle Nest Beach is the best.
Alain and Marleine, the husband & wife owners, will make your stay unforgettable -- you'll rush to return. One word of caution, though -- Turtle Nest Beach is the definition of "out-of-the-way" -- so I strongly recommend renting a car during your stay (which you can rent at a discount from one of the local rental agencies, thanks to Alain & Marleine).
All in all, a wonderful getaway in paradise! |

Forget Seven-mile beach. Stay at the Turtle nest Inn. My wife and I found this place in concierge.com. I'm glad we did. The Inn is brand new and beautiful. The 1 bedroom unit we had was immaculate and roomy. The pool and beach were perfect, very good reef/snorkeling right outside your door. I went night snorkeling and saw lobster, small rays, octopus and more.
The Inn keepers Alan and Marlene will stear you to all the best attractions and restaraunts. Don't hesitate to book this incredible bargain. |

Turtle Nest Inn was a fantastic alternative to the 7-Mile Beach scene and the other time-share type operations that abound on Grand Cayman.
The rooms were spotless, well laid out, and thoroughly cleaned daily.
The staff were invariably courteous, and the owners were there when you need them but not hovering about.
This is a real find on Grand Cayman, intended for those who want a laid back, quiet holiday. |
