Q: My fiance and I were planning on having our wedding somewhere in the caribbean and we were looking for a nice, but somewhat affordable hotel to accomodate our family and friends. We were considering the Marriott in Curacao. Any comments as to whether this would be a good choice? Answer

| A: The Marriott is one of the best hotels on the island. My wife and I stayed there for a week in February the last two years. It is a nice property and the staff is very friendly. |

| A: The Marriot, though a well respected name, is actually a low end property on the island. Instead, rent a villa at Blue Bay Village and get married on the beach at Blue Bay. You can't go wrong on either account. |

A: Hi Megs828
My suggestion would be to rent a villa, this will save you a significant amount of money and you can even have the wedding at the villa. Now not every villa will let weddings take place but quite a few will
WhereToStay.com has hundreds of villas, not sure how many will allow weddings Check our your options here or give them a call http://www.wheretostay.com/villas/ |
