My wife and I just returned from a week in Curacao. We had a wonderful time - exemplified by the execellent evening at Brakkeput Meimei.
We made reservations for a Thursday evening, which happend to be their lobster night. Both of us ordered the lobster special. We started with a trip to the salad bar. While simple in its offerings, it contained very flavorful and delicious starters.
We were served the stuffed lobster specials, and I must say when they arrived, they were one of the hottest meals I have ever been served....obviously just freshly cooked. The meal was delicious.
Next were the desserts. My wife had the chocolate mousse and I had the tres leche. They were awesome. I have traveled around the world, and have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in the world. This ranked up there in my top five dining experiences ever.
