The Tamarind Tree Hotel & Restaurant is ideally located in the center of Dominica’s west coast on top of a 100-foot cliff, offering a beautiful view over the Caribbean Sea, the Bay of Salisbury and Morne Diablotin.
Roseau, the capital, is 12-miles/20 km to the south; Portsmouth is 12-miles/20 km to the north, about a 30-minute drive each way. To Canefield Airport, north of Roseau, it is a 20-minute drive and to Melville Hall Airport in the northeast it is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive.
The beach of Macoucherie is a three minute walk away and the beach of Salisbury, where the dive center East Carib Dive is located, is a seven minute walking distance. To the village of Salisbury it is a 15 minute walk.
