*We encountered fangs and bad manners!* Visited: March 2007

	We didn't get the chance to make inquires. We were barely out of our car when, with no warning, their dog attacked our beloved family dog. After many desperate attempts to dislodge the viscious animal, my husband finally succeeded in lifting the dog away using a chokehold. While I put our bleeding, limping pet back into our car, the proprietress, an American, proclaimed that "it was not her dog" . Then, the attacking dog came running back towards our open car. When my husband blocked its progress with a kick, the owner then contradicted herself yelling, "don't kick my dog." So that we could quickly tend to our pet's wounds, we began to reverse from their driveway. The owners watched us, with not a word of concern. But rather, the proprietress nudged her husband, grinning, whispering and smirking! This was such an insult added to injury that we called out of our windows that we did not think it was funny. At this point the woman screamed and pointed us to "Get the **** off my property!" I could not believe my ears, but she was so loud there was no mistaking her. Therefore I recommend, do not attempt to inquire without phoning first! As to the outside appearance, there was a wind, but otherwise the place was totally isolated, devoid of character, and one would hope they have cable TV.

	You need to spend some time at Wind Blow. The views are great, there is a wonderful breeze, and it is a short walk to town or the beach. Also, the shower is hot and the evenings are cool. We loved it and we are going back real soon. It is the best place we have been on the island.

	The Wind Blow Estate is off the beaten path with very nice mountain and sea views. The suites are wonderful and the hot water showers are great. It is a great place to relax and kick back, but it is close to whatever you need - including the airport. We had a wonderful time.

	July, 2000 - Wind Blow Estates was the lodging of choice for a mission team from Kentucky. Every need we had was met at this facility. The owner went above and beyond the usual considerations to ensure that our stay was the best possible . The kitchens were well stocked with all necessary furnishings and the villas were spacious, comfortable, and private. The caretaker was attentive to our every need. The beauty of the facility and its location was beyond an adequate description. I would never consider staying anywhere else on the island for future visits. You can't possibly find better accommodations for the price anywhere on the island.

	My wife and I loved Dominica and plan to go back soon with some friends and stay again at Wind Blow Estates. We could not believe we got the equivalent of an apt., kitchen, living room, bed room, etc. It is new and private with good security and an on-site caretaker who was available 24 hours a day. The view of the ocean from our decks was spectacular and there is a beautiful, clean river nearby for freshwater swimming.

	I just got back from my stay at Wind Blow Estates and if you are looking for an unspoiled island, this is it. My stay at Wind Blow was very pleasent and comfortable. The accomodations were adequate and sufficient. Wind Blow has all the needed essentials. There is a secure and well fenced in yard with lovely landsacping. Plenty of hot water was powered by solar. The caretaker was very helpful and always avalible 24 hours a day, ready to take you anywhere you wished to go. The view was beautiful and swimming was great. There were five people in my party. Myself, my wife and our three daughters. We were all very comfortable. I've been to other islands and this one is unspoiled as of yet and in its natural state. For a third world island, I rate this on top of my list. I'm looking forward to planning my next vacation at Wind Blow. If you are looking for a place for complete relaxation and comfort and security, this is the place to go. Where am I going next year? You guessed it...Wind Blow Estate!
