Q: My boyfriend and I had been wanting to visit DR (Punta Cana) in late September or October, but recently found out that's peak hurricane season. What are the chances? Are we best off waiting until November, or going somewhere else???? Please any advice is appreciated. Answer

A: I love to travel to the Caribbean during that time. Not as many people. You will know well in advance if a storm is anywhere near where you are going. Buy trip insurance just in case.
