Q: What items should we bring to give away to the local folks? Last year we were in Cuba and didn't realize we should have brought a ton of kids/adult clothes to leave behind ... what about DR? Answer

| A: We found the Dominicans to be avid Boston Red Sox baseball fans. They will appreciate if you bring them Red Sox merchandise such as hats, t-shirts, pins, keychains, etc. |

| A: If you are going to a resort you will probably not encounter the poorer areas of the country like you did in Cuba. But you can bet blue jeans are always a sought after item. |
