Visited: December 2005 Posted by investmark First the good. The grounds were beautiful, and the hotel itself was pretty nice. The food was not so good, though. The beach was nice, but the venders were terrible. They would not go away, and the hotel security did nothing about it. They just didn't take "no" for an answer. I will caution you about the Viva Vacation Club scam. It was a timeshare where they seemed to do everything they could to convince us that it was not a timeshare. We know because we were suckered in. They made many promises to us that were not kept. They did not get us airline tickets, and there were many hidden charges that appeared monthly on our credit card. Visited: March 2005 Posted by melly_chicken4 When I came here with a few friends, I felt like my stay was more than a welcome. The staff was great, and I enjoyed learning about the island because they made it so much fun and easy to learn. The beach was absolutely georgous, and I never had a dull moment here. Games were arranged for people of all ages - including children. For those who love basketball and tennis, there was a basketball court to play on, and you don't have to feel like you are an intruder. You just go and join in on the games. I've been on many vacations, and I would have to say this was one of my favorites. I really enjoyed my stay, and would definitely go back one day.
