2.0 stars never again! Visited: October 2004

The resort was okay. The food was NO good. Some people reported having some (if not all) belongings stolen. Our room was regular with no bedspreads or washclothes. The beach, pool and jacuzzi was the only nice things there, but they would not alow my kids (9 & 10 years old) to join me in the jacuzzi. Solicitors bother you all day while your trying to relax on the beach or while strolling around the resort area. The shows were all sexual related (not for children under 12). No where in the brochure or on the internet did they mention that women were able to go topless, they made it sound like a family resort (very disrespectful). I don't suggest horseback riding, because it was outside of the resort (scary!), and the horses looked sick. The so-called kids club was not what they make it out to be. They treated my kids like they were invisible, maybe because they were of color. Two other couples from the United States said they stayed in their rooms most of their stay, either sick (from that stuff they call food) or homesick. Be sure to get back to the airport two hours early, Continental Airlines counter closed up forty-five mintues before departure time and would not let us board our plane (which was part of our all-inclusive package), so we had to purchase more tickets with American Airlines and had to pay more for the tickets to get home then the entire trip of 4 to begin with. I should of just went to Jamaica like I planned to from the beginning. Lesson learned: Always go with your first instinct!

5.0 stars This place was worth our money. Visited: October 2004

It was perfect! I stayed in this hotel for my birthday last year, and let me tell you it was fabulous! Rating it five stars would be an understatement for this place.

It was so clean, and the food was wonderful - there was so much variety that we didn't even know where to begin. Also, the staff was so friendly and highly professional. The rooms were gorgeous and were just a few feet away from the quiet pool. And they were so clean - the beds, the sheets, the pillows... everything!

I had such a wonderful time, and the activities were great. I have already made plans to go this year. I'm from the Dominican Republic and I've been to a few hotels there, and this is a very good one. Stay here and you will not be disappointed, I guarantee it!
