We encountered long lines here. Visited: February 2009 |

The food was tasty, but there were long, long lines. We tried to make reservations at the restaurants, and they did not make them. However, they wanted two hours to eat Mexican.
There were not enough umbrellas, and we had to get up at 7 am to stand in line - and about ten were given out at 8 am.
Also, the resort ran out of beer and liquior one night. What happened to all inclusive? I will return to the Dominican Republic, but not to the Coral Resort. |

The service was horrible. The hotel needs more English-speaking staff members.
Also, the rooms are old and outdated. If this is a Hilton property, I am very disappointed in Hilton.
In addition, the hotel needs to cater to guests from other countries other than Spanish nationalities.
We will stay with US hotels from this point on.

This hotel had many amenities which were wonderful. They had a pool, Jacuzzi, direct acess to a private beach, a variety of restaurants, bar, 24-hour snack bar, casino, spa, and hair salon. There were so many things to do!
The service was wonderful. Any problem, and they were glad to help. They were friendly people, too. The hotel also offered many activities, such as aerobics in the water, windsurfing, banana boat riding, snorkeling and many other things which are so much fun. Of course, relaxing on the gorgeous beach and drinking an ice cold drink was wonderful, too.
Although the hotel was wonderful, the Dominican Republic was a country of beauty and culture which deserves at least a few days to explore. The concierge was available to help set up excursions.
I went to La Isla Saona which was southeast of the mainland and was like going to paradise for a few hours.
I highly reccomend it. We experienced great service and met wonderful people. It was the best experience I've ever had. |
