Don Juan Beach Resort boasts great staff and property. Visited: April 2006 Posted by macleod_12 While staying at this property, I had an amazing time. I loved the people. I got to dance and learn a lot about the culture here. My favorite part was getting to know the animation staff. I had so much fun. Also, the food was good; the rooms were nice and clean; and the pools and beach were all clean and well put together. The staff here was well put together, too. They were very friendly and helpful. This was definitely not what you might expect. Visited: July 2005 Posted by sedwins On this site - like others -Don Juan was rated four stars. I believe this view is very subjective, and extremely contrary to reality. In my opinion, this so-called "resort" rates two stars (maximum). And I may still be over estimating by way much. For the price quoted here at Don Juan, which I thought was obscene given this property's features, I might as well have stayed at resorts in Punta Cana and Puerto Plata and received a high level of service in comparison to what I paid here. Don Juan was not a bad place per se. Visited: December 1969 Posted by vitomerenda March 3rd we will go back to this resort, and it will be the third year in a row that we will spend our winter vacations in this resort. We usually stay 14 days, and we love it. The food is good, they have a white sandy beach, the rooms are clean, and the staff is super. Every time we got off the bus, I had lot of the animation guys calling my name because they still remembered me.
