Villas Del Sol boast clean, contemporary and spacious lodgings. Visited: November 2009 Posted by joycasti70 We highly recommend Villas Del Sol if you are looking for a spacious, self contained and modern "home"in Juan Dolio. It is about a ten-minute walk (maybe it's shorter without kids) to the much improved, beautiful Juan Dolio beach. Since the decline of Boca Chica and its beach, Juan Dolio is the closest "tropical paradise" to Santo Domingo and the airport. It was awesome and a great place to stay. Visited: September 2009 Posted by mgwarren71 I really enjoyed Villas Del Sol. It was beautiful. This was the first time I have stayed somewhere that the pictures on the Internet did not give the place its proper dues. Even though the pictures looked good, it was just so much better in person. I will be staying here in February when I go back to the Dominican Republic. Villas Del Sol is a great place to stay! Visited: July 2009 Posted by anastasi13 Staying at this particular villa made our experience in Dominican Republic extra enjoyable. Located in a tropical little town of Juan Dolio, it offers access to the beautiful Caribbean Sea, as well as the numerous attractions of Santo Domingo. The house is well designed and tastefully decorated. It is a part of a gated complex that is well secured 24 hours a day. The pool is clean. Also, the villa's managers are always responsive to any questions or requests. The cleaning service is quick and thorough, too. Did you find this helpful? WE'LL BE BACK Visited: July 2009 Posted by crosario87 My husband and I finally went away on vacation after five years. I was really looking forward to this vacation. However, things got a little complicated, because I really didn't have the time for all the calling and scheduling. Yet this problem was quickly resolved the moment I contacted Nadia. Nadia is the person that handles the rentals at Villas del Sol. I found her while searching for an apartment or villa for rent over the internet. The moment I made contact with her, everything became very simple. She took care of everything; from making the arrangements to rent our villa, to contacting someone which provided us with a very affordable car rental. Whenever I had a question, I would text her and I would have an answer in no time. She sent us pictures of the villa and SUV we decided to rent. She also sent us pictures of restaurants in the area that she recommends and information on places of interest nearby. When I first spoke to her, I told her that the three most important things for us were security, cleanliness and a reliable air-conditioning system. Well, we're back and have no complaints. They definitely provided all the services they promised and much more. Another thing we loved was the beautiful and unique decorations in this villa. We came back with a lot of new ideas for our home. The villas are also fully equipped with everything you may need. Planning our vacation with her turned out to be a lot more affordable than we anticipated. This has made it possible to start thinking about next year's vacation. We had a wonderful time. Visited: March 2009 Posted by jordanes54 It was beautiful, safe, clean, modern, and in a great location. It was an awesome villa close to the beach, restaurants, and a small supermarket. The place was awesome, with a great setup. The whole place had upgrades galore. I will be returning someday. Hopefully soon. Aside from the villa, they had a semi-concierge service...Jeff, Juan Pablo, and Jonathon were wonderful. They really took care of every request I had. Visited: August 2008 Posted by thedirect1 This was my third trip to the Dominican Republic and by far in accommodation, my best one yet. It felt like home away from home as advertised. The entire community was very well kept, and I guarantee that by the time you leave there, you would have made a couple more friends than you started the trip with. I would like to thank Nadia for all her help with planning this trip. I would like to thank Hada for making sure everything in the house was clean and spotless. We picked the Dominican Republic. We had such a great time. Nadia was wonderful to work with, as far as trying to plan and make arrangements for this trip. Hada was so welcoming, and Danny was just so nice. They all made sure we had everything we needed - no matter what it was. The property was very well kept, and the people in the area were just like family. It was my first time out of the country, and I really enjoyed myself. I almost cried when I had to leave . If you are looking for a nice, warm, welcoming place to stay - this would be the perfect choice. Once again, my friends and I had a ball. Visited: May 2008 Posted by timamp;amp;wili My friend and I made our first trip to the Dominican Republic, and we couldn't have been happier with the choice to stay at this villa. Everything was immaculate, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Nadia was excellent in helping us with all the details - including transport to and from airport. She made everything go smoothly and hassle free, and anything I asked for - she was spot on. The beach, casino, and restaurants were all close. Everyone in the area was friendly and helpful, too - especially since neither of us spoke much Spanish. But it was not a problem at all. We found tons of things to do, but when we were back at the villa, everything was peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. This was just what a vacation should be. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Visited: September 2007 Posted by abindr My cousin and I wanted to take a "fellas" vacation where we would have the privacy and serenity of our own space, while still being close to all the happening spots. We could not have made a better choice. The Villa was centrally located, and because we rented a car, we made several quick trips to Santo Domingo, San Pedro, and Boca Chica. Needless to say, we had several guests. All of whom were overwhelmed by the class and decor of this villa. Each room had its own flat screen TV, modern furniture and bathroom. Plus, the common areas were fashionably put together as if an interior designer took special attention to make this villa just right. In addition to the great decor, the villa was very safe. It was in a gated complex with 24-hour security. In addition, if you take some time to meet and speak with the staff, they will treat you like royalty. Wander (the Dominican Rental Assistant) was fabulous! He was like our personal concierge. He gave us an initial tour, and was available to answer any questions we had. In fact, he even came by and ate with us at a cook out we had. Speaking of cookout; If you are into Dominican food, you may be able to persuade the cleaning lady (Gesenia) to cook some traditional food as she did for us. Although not included in your price, she will wash and do whatever else you need for a small fee. If you are traveling from the US, be sure to ask Nadia any questions you may have about the area and the villa. She was a wealth of knowledge - and a lot of fun. We've stayed at resorts in Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, Mexico; and this villa takes the cake. It had all the amenities you could ask for. The villa administrator, Wander, did a wonderful job of familiarizing us with the area and making us feel as though we were in our home away from home. Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment were all within walking distance. The beach, which was also in walking distance, was amazing with crystal clear water and smooth sand. If the beach isn't for you, simply walk out the front door to find a luxurious pool. Posted by kev4109 I visted the Villa from January 4th to January 10th for my birthday with my brother and one of my boys. All I can say is Nadia and Wander are the best. The home is in walking distance to everything you need. The grounds are very well taken care of. There is also an Avis rental car at the end of the street.
