This was an excellent quiet getaway. Visited: November 2005 |

The hotel was located right on the beach and had large, clean, and beautifully decorated rooms. During my stay, there was a German modeling agency doing a photo shoot right on the hotel grounds - it was that beautiful!
They provided a great complimentary breakfast which I filled up on every morning while looking out over the pool, across the beach, onto the rolling surf. It was an ideal way to start off a day of scuba diving, fishing, trekking, horseback riding or just vegging on the beach, all of which I did with the invaluable assistance of the hotel's concierge Nico.
I experienced great diving with Punta Ballena Dive Center. It was about 2 1/2 hour taxi from Puerto Plata, but the drive was georgous and it was a great introduction to the Dominican Republic. In addition, there was no sign of crime or issues about safety in this beautiful small fishing village.
I highly recommend this hotel and suggest the sooner you visit, the better. This area was so much more beautiful than all the other touristy areas along the north coast that I fear it will not be long before this beautiful, quiet, small town becomes an overdeveloped tourist mecca. |

This was the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in.
You cannot beat waking up to a view of palm trees and the ocean!
In addition, the staff at Club Bonito was extremely friendly and helpful.
Thanks to everyone for a great vacation! |

We stayed here over the new year with our two young children. Everything was great, well organized, relaxed, and with nice rooms and friendly staff.
If you want to escape the high intensity and kick back a bit - this place for you! |

We had another wonderful stay in Las Galeras! Visited: September 2002 |

This was already our third trip to Las Galeras, and we stayed three weeks in the beautiful Club Bonito. We can really recommend this fantastic small hotel and the friendly staff (Manuela, Alexandra, Paulina, Kelly, and all the others) to everybody!
We have just booked another two weeks for our son and his girlfriend. They will be staying here in June, and we are sure they will also enjoy it.
The new manager, Verena, was also very nice, and she spoke perfect German. We had a wonderful time with two visitors from California (Hi Claudia and Trevor!) and with a visitor from Hungary (Hi Judit!).
We are sure we will come back another time (Claudia, Trevor, Judit: don't forget: September 2007 at Chez Denise!). |

We just came from one of our most unforgettable vacations at Las Galleras on the Samana Peninsula.
Thanks to the whole staff at Club Bonito (Manuela, Aleksandra, Paulina and all the others) for their excellent attention. We will miss the breakfasts with classical music in the background. |

I visited Club Bonito with my family. The only problem I had was to convince my kids that it was time to leave. They had such a great time. It was beautiful, tasteful and the people were excellent. I am looking forward to our next vacation at Club Bonito. |

This property is no longer open. Club Bonito, on the Samana Peninsula, offers a Caribbean escape to a novel-like setting in the unspoiled Caribbean. Las Galeras, where Club Bonito is located, is a small fishing village on the as yet undiscovered Rincon... |
