WE ARE SO SAD THAT WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO SECRET HARBOUR DUE TO ITS CLOSURE, OUR HOLIDAYS OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS HAVE BEEN THE BEST HOLIDAYS IN OUR LIFETIME. WE ALSO FEEL THAT THE STAFF WERE LIKE OUR SECOND FAMILY. WE WISH THEM ALL LUCK! |

We experienced an understated elegance here. Visited: June 2002 |

We arrived in the evening and were greeted by a band of steel pans on the terrace overlooking the bay. The players swung to the metallic, hollow sound as we walked down to our apartment.
The room hung over the bay with a pretty ornamental deck. The yachts flickered in the still night. The room had poster beds and a tiled bath with a dark mahogany interior. I found the room charming and fresh, but the bathroom looked a little worn. There were two dead roaches, as to be expected in the tropics, but we never saw another one.
The mahogany wood made the room seem a little cavernous, but the brick arches and stained glass windows offset it. The view from the room and garden terrace above where the common area was located was stunning. The grounds were covered with brilliant tropical foliage. I couldn't get over how beautiful it was.
The service and breakfast were very nice. The cliffside pool was also appealing, as it also looked out at the water. It was very peaceful and quiet. The only disappointment was the location, which wasn't what we were looking for, so we arranged prior to arriving in Grenada to stay elsewhere on the beach. |

What a beautiful, relaxing place!
This was our favorite place on the island. The atmosphere, location, and everything about it were wonderful. We would have stayed on and on if we'd had the money. |

Secret Harbour was a delightful retreat. Visited: December 2001 |

I had seen advertisements for this hotel in Caribbean Life & Travel magazine, and immediately went to their web site to check it out. I'm so glad we decided on this property.
It was so quaint and relaxing. I loved sitting on our private veranda and just staring out at the water and the yachts coming and going. It was more like having our own private little villa than a hotel suite. I loved the atmosphere. The staff was great, and Mr. Dragon was a pleasure.
We would love to return someday. |

Unique Grenada property offers charm and romance. Visited: December 2000 |

We spent two nights at this intimate and unusual waterfront property before sailing off on a Moorings charter. This was our second stay here, our last visit was in 1996. Except for a cracked tile here and there, the rooms are still among the most romantic in the islands, with a right-on-the-water hillside setting, mahogany 4-poster beds, high-beamed ceilings, and private decks overlooking spectacular views. Lush vegetation and flowers, as well as softly scented Spice Island breezes are all part of the package. The pool area and restaurant carry out the same breezy feeling with white stucco and red tile. No cookie-cutter chain hotel ambiance here; this is an out-of-the-way Caribbean jewel. |

It was so beautiful. It was better than some of the 4- or 5-star hotels in Granada. It had charm and character and also looked very luxurious. It is totally underrated and the food was lovely in the beautiful gothic-type restaurant with a nice atmosphere.
I want to come back. Loved the beautiful chessboard. And where else can you get two four-poster beds in one room?
