5.0 stars True Blue is a friendly place to stay. Visited: January 2009

My husband, our son and I had a wonderful time at True Blue.

The staff's friendliness and willingness to help was outstanding.

The food was great, too. Although it was a few miles from our favorite beach Grand Anse, we had hours of fun splashing around in the choice of two pools and nearby beaches.

We felt like we made lots of friends in Grenada - and particularly True Blue. We will be heading back as soon as we can!

4.0 stars I never even thought of home! Visited: July 2007

What a great getaway. I loved just sitting on the balcony watching the clouds with a couple of cold ones.

The very large rooms where a delight compared to the average. The gracious elegance of the staff was a surprise, and not having to get in the car to go to dinner or happy hour was the icing on the cake.

I hope I can come back - only next time, I will stay in one of the new Tower rooms!

5.0 stars We had a wonderful stay and a great wedding. Visited: June 2007

Wow, what a great place to stay! We were married here, and spent our honeymoon here, too.

We used Lucille at Grenada Weddings as our wedding coordinator, and we couldn't have been more happy with her services. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she really made our wedding day so special.

The staff at the resort was fantastic, and the hotel itself was beautiful, relaxing and an absolute dream to stay in.

We will definitely be returning to True Blue and have already recommended it to two friends who are booked for Christmas 2007.

Thanks to Lucille and the team at True Blue - the memories of our special day are down to you all.

4.0 stars This was a great holiday! Visited: June 2007

We checked in on June 4th, and our children immediately fell in love with the staff and the small play area. Everyone was friendly, and the facilities were great for families or couples.

The hotel had great decor - it was colorful and relaxing, with great gardens and pools. It felt very tropical and welcoming.

The breakfast services were a great value, and were included in the room cost. We loved dinner at the casual restaurant. Off The Grill was always so fresh and tasty!

We hope to return one day. Thanks!

5.0 stars It was a slice of paradise! Visited: January 2007

My husband and I , needed somewhere very relaxing, but also that had good facilities and a nice restaurant. We were pleased to find True Blue Bay Resort met all of our requirements. From arrival, we began to have a lovely time.

We were given such a lovely welcome with an invitation to join the management and staff for a complimentary cocktail party. This started off the vacation perfectly.

We really enjoyed our room - we selected a tower room. The grounds, two swimming pools that were never crowded, and the excellent cuisine in the restaurant made our stay.

Although we rented a car for some of the time on the other days, we enjoyed complimentary shuttle to the beach or shops. True Blue Bay was close to all amenities, however, still tucked away in a much more private bay - which suited us perfectly.

Special Thanks to the reception and housekeeping staff who were the most friendliest and professional staff we have experienced.

1.0 stars This was the worst stay! Visited: December 2006

My husband and I stayed at this hotel (we also got married here). It was the worst experience ever!

The staff at the hotel was pleasant, but the wedding coordinator (Lucille Sylvester) was horrible. We did not get what we expected. Most of the things we agreed upon during the planning stages (on the phone and via email) were not delivered. Also, sometimes when we called her, she sounded upset at us.

WhereToStay.com Note: The wedding planner the bride posting refers to was interviewed and contracted by herself independently, and she personally selected the hotel, based on her numerous previous visits there to host her wedding reception.

The whole affair was a disaster. My husband and I are planning to do it over, just so that we'll have better memories of our special day. I know it won't be the same, though.

5.0 stars A quiet, relaxing, and friendly resort. Visited: August 2003

Due to other commitments, we were only able to stay for two days, but it was instantly clear that this resort was run with a high degree of pride and concern for the guests.

The resort sat on a sloping hill overlooking a classic Caribbean bay - try for a Bay View room - each had an unobstructed view from its front porch.

Their restaurant sat on a patio hanging over the water, and it served first-rate food. An adjoining bar and snack cafe sat on a dock and attracted people from around the island each evening. A medium-sized pool was available for guests.

It was a few miles from the high-traffic resort and town areas, but that contributed to its quietness. We highly recommend this resort.

4.0 stars I enjoyed my stay here. Visited: October 2002

Everyone at True Blue was very pleasent and helpful. The hotel offered a free buffet breakfast which had a wide selection, and was enjoyable. The rooms were big and very clean. Even though it was not close to Grande Anse beach, and the showers were a bit cold, I had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

4.0 stars Our stay at True Blue Bay Resort was incredible. Visited: December 1969

Our stay was wonderful, beginning with our very warm greeting by Amanda. As a matter of fact, I cannot say enough about Amanda. She was the icing on the cake. She anticipated our needs and made our brief stay absolutely wonderful.

We were so grateful that she had the foresight to order a light dinner for us on the night of our arrival. We got there after the restaurant kitchen had closed, and we were famished. I can tell you, those were the best cheese sandwiches we ever ate!

Our accommodations were beautiful and so comfortable. It was very hard to leave, and I can't wait to come back.

Thank you again for a delightful experience!
