	The owner didn't seem to care less about our comfort - or anything else for that matter. There are many nicer places to stay in Haiti besides the Oloffson.

	I have stayed at the Oloffson many times over the last 22 years. I have never had a bad stay or met a unhappy traveler. It is a truly unique place and has changed little since Graham Greene. Your fellow guests are likely to be interesting. I have met diplomats, rock stars, actors, anthropologists and journalists. Great conversations are part of the experience. Richard, the owner, is shy but friendly. The staff is very accommodating.
