5.0 stars This must be the best place on earth! Visited: August 2004

Moulin Sur Mer is one of the most romantic places on earth! I bet you'll love it.

I recently spent a week here, and I didn't want to come back home.

The staff was very nice, and always smiling. The grounds were always clean and the food was just great! I cannot wait to go back.

This hotel was very nice. When I stayed here, the service was excellent. The food could have been improved upon, but it was still the best hotel in Haiti.

I have traveled very much and I chose to get married in Haiti because I wanted to spend my honeymoon in Moulin Sur Mer.

It was an enchanting stay. The room could have used more towels, though. The staff was very nice. The food was superb and the beach, Oh the beach! I can't wait to get back there.

5.0 stars A beautiful island in the sun. Visited: April 2003

This was my second visit to Moulin. Unfortunately because of time, we were only able to stop and enjoy a 1/2 day there having lunch. We each enjoyed a fantastic meal. The wait staff was pleasant. In fact everyone we met made us feel very relaxed. A few of the people with me had never been there before. I purposely brought them here to get a feel for it. IT WORKED! We plan to spend a day or two at Moulin in May 2003. If I had a complaint it would be that I have sent several emails to find out rates and have never received an response. Can't wait to visit again.

The rooms are clean and spacious. However, they do need a TV and a radio in them. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is amazing and the food is appetizing. Also, the beach is very clean, and the staff is absolutely terrific. The bar could use some music, though.

3.0 stars Moulin Sur Mer is a great place to relax Visited: October 2002

Moulin Sur Mer is a great place to relax. It is very clean, in a great location with a beautiful beach, and they serve great food. The hotel needs more entertainment, maybe a little music and a little dancing. It would really spice things up. But overall, it's a great place.

My husband and I enjoyed moulin su mer . The food was fantastic . The staff was very reliant . Our rooms was very authenthic and very creative . Honestly the only input I have for the owners of moulin sur mer is to have more lively music and entertainment . At times it was very quiet , it made me just want to stay in my room . Other than that everything else was excellent . I plan to go back with my husband again . One last thing, I like to shop from places Ive been to for memories . I was glad that moulin sur mer had a gift shop . I brought a coffee mug from their gift shop , I added it to my sixteen mug collections from all the caribbean islands Ive been to .

My husband and I enjoyed Moulin Su Mer. The food was fantastic, the staff was very reliable, and our rooms were very creatively appointed.

Honestly, the only input I would have for the owners would be to have more lively music and entertainment. At times it was very quiet, it made me just want to stay in my room. Other than that, everything else was excellent.

My husband and I plan to return. One last thing - I like to shop for souvenirs from places I've been. I was glad that Moulin Sur Mer had a gift shop. I brought home a coffee mug from their gift shop and I added it to my sixteen-mug collection from all the Caribbean islands I've visited.

5.0 stars We enjoyed our stay immensely at this paradise. Visited: April 2001

The resort was beautiful! The rooms were comfortable, all of the employees were friendly and helpful, particularly the gentleman at the bar. The food was great. I was up at 6am to enjoy the beautiful pool. What a beautiful view in the morning lying on the beach looking out as the boats go by, accompanied only by an occasional swimmer at LaGonave. It was heavenly! We plan to return again next year.

The place is a nice place, but you get bored easily. No TV or radio. When visiting the lobby, no excitement. They need to provide some king of fun stuff besides eating and sleeping.

3.0 stars Moulin Sur Mer can be a nice place Visited: December 1969

Moulin Sur Mer is one of the few places that can prove that Haiti is beautiful. As a Hotel, Moulin Sur Mer is not very attractive. Some nice color TV's in the rooms, some nice radios, good air-conditioning are missing at Moulin Sur Mer. Also, the pool is not safe enough; the pipe is too high making the pressure at the top of the pool too high.

However, as a beach, Moulin Sur Mer is one of the few places that still keeps the freshness of Haiti.

If you need to visit the beauty of Haiti after seeing the effects of poverty, then you can't find a nicer place than Moulin. I highly recommend that you order the grilled lobster and eat it at a table just feet away from the clear blue surf. Afterwards take a stroll through the pristine grounds and enjoy a relaxing swim in the freshwater pool. A great place to relieve stress and forget about the rest of the world.

For those who know me, I have been traveling extensively around the world and Moulin Sur Mer is really upscale with that special carib-sunshine touch. That Haitian food is incredibly delicious!!! The view and the location of the hotel is paradise. I was seriously considering shooting a music video in this place.

Moulion sur Mer is the best place to go to refresh your mind and relax. You can have your breakfast every morning on the beach and a lot of activities are included! The beach is beautifull and don't forget to bring your mask because you can do snorkeling 5 feet off the beach!! The food is excellent and the hotel is wonderfull!
