Q: My husband and I are interested in traveling to Jamaica (Montego Bay airport) next week from Los Angeles. We are looking for a hotel that is on the beach, very stylish, bohemian with a boutique hotel feel. We want to stay in the hippest (and safest) area. Can you make a few recommendations?
Many thanks!

Q: Hello, My retired mother just got back from Jamaica and has flea bites all over her lower legs. She is on many medications and this poses complications. Anyone else deal with this? What did you do for it? She's been to two doctors, one there (which cost her quite a bit of money)and her regular doc at home.

Q: "My husband and I (both 32) are planning a trip to Jamaica in March for a week-a getaway from the kids! We are thinking of Montego Bay b/c we can get a direct flight and don't want a lot of travel time. We'd like to relax, have a nice beach, some activities (snorkling, sailing, etc)but are fine with down time too, don't want a "party spring break" atmosphere, and are looking for an all-inclusive-but don't want to break the bank! If we're at a nice resort, we are fine not doing lots of excursions. Any suggestions? We'd also consider Negril if you think it would be significantly better-but we'd have to tack on another 2 hours of car travel time. THanks!"

Q: I got married in Montego Bay, Jamaica in 2003. In May 2008 I am planning our 5th anniversary in Negril, Jamica. I am planning on staying 7 nights. I have research the web and have narrowed it down to (2) locations: Couples Swept Away-Negril or Sandals Negril. I just found out about the sand fleas on the beaches in Negril, in reviews I read about it once. Going by the reviews, so far Couples Swept Away in Negril is winning. The resort that I got married at in Montego Bay (Sandals) was kind of old and not exactly what I thought it would be like. Any suggestions? I would even consider paying a higher price but I do want a higher quality.

Q: lol...i just asked the question about where to stay in jamaica after my senior year of high school.
first off, i will be 18; second off i have never and will never smoke or drink & I WONT BRING BACK POT (neither one of us are into that); third off and most IMPORTANTLY we are going there as sort of a honeymoon~bf-gf~vacation for a week before i go to University of Michigan.
Sooo...do you know any resorts an 18 year old can rent a 1 bedroom for around $300 a night and also has activities such as snorkelling/scuba diving, jet skiing, shopping, parasailing, etc. near by?
Also, are there any car rental places in Jamaica where an 18 year old can rent a car?
Thanks for any help again b/c i just needed to clear a few misconceptions up. =]

Q: After my senior year (next year) of high school, i am planning on taking my friend (who will be 16 and is a girl) to a nice resort in Jamaica that is around $300 for 1 bedroom but i dont know which one.
We will also be doing other activities like snorkelling/scuba diving, jet skiing, shopping, parasailing, etc.
Do you know any resorts on the ocean that will have these things near by (but not necessarily on it b/c i will rent a car) and will be perfect for the two of us?
Thanks a lot for any ideas!
