Q: I asked earlier about best time to stay: the reason is = I've been reading that May & June are rainy season / Sept & Oct are hurricane season / But June-Aug are the HOTTEST !! When is the "best time" to plan a wedding & honeymoon regarding weather ??? Answer

| A: I can and will rain year round. When it rains in the Caribbean, typically it rains for a few minutes and passes through. Hurricane season is officially 1/2 the year, but you can not plan around a storm 6 months in advance. Plan your trip, buy insurance and then you are covered in the slight chance a storm ruins your vacation. Hot is a relative term. You are going to be sitting on a beach or next to a pool, right? I think you can handle 80s and 90s in those extreme conditions. ;>) Plan you wedding around what is best for you. The only month I would really avoid is September because so many places close for a little break. |
