Charela Inn - Jamaica

This little inn is right in the middle of the world renown Negril Beach. The hacienda setting has 14 deluxe rooms (facing the ocean - adults only) and the others facing the lush tropical gardens. The inner court yard houses the fresh-water pool and gardens.

All rooms have phones, air-conditioning unit, hair dryers, ceiling fans, radios and a patio or balcony. There are four family units consisting of a large bedroom with a king size bed, a smaller room with a twin size bunk bed, a shared bath, and refrigerator. Cribs and roll away beds are available upon request. There are 6 rooms with handicapped facilities.

The Deluxe ocean view rooms are all on the first floor for the best views. They are equipped with a king size, four poster bed, full bath with whirlpool tub, coffee maker, in-room safe and mini-fridge. A secluded deluxe ocean view room is offered as a Honeymoon Suite also with whirlpool bath, coffee maker, in-room safe and mini-fridge.

Environmentally friendly water sports are complimentary as are lessons for beginners. Thursday evenings offer a live show with local music as do Saturday evenings with local songs
and dance.

The evening meals are a five course fare with reasonable rates. The MAP (breakfast and dinner) option ($38/day) is also available. The cuisine is French and Jamaican and you must try the pizzas! Wine is exclusively imported by the resort so you can expect fine French wine.

Hotel transfers are not included, but are offered by the hotel.
