This was the ultimate of all ultimates! Visited: June 2007 |

My husband and I stayed at Hedo III in June of 2007. This place was the ultimate in 'Pleasurdice'. Yes, I had to make up a word to describe it.
In this all-inclusive world, if relaxation is your thing, this is the place for you. If non stop partying is your thing, this is definitely the place for you.
The grounds were well maintained, and the staff was second to none. This was one anniversary we both will never forget - and looking forward to repeating! |

This was our 2nd stay at Hedo III and it was not as crazy this year. Last year we hit the end of a fetish convention so check the Hedo calender before you book. The food wasn't as good this time either. We still loved the jerked food at the Reggae Cafe, but the Pastafari was awful. The piano bar was a blast. I will never hear some songs the same again. Do not go to this resort if nudity bothers you. The nude do come over to the prude side. We were at the clothing optional pool bar one afternoon and watched a guy taking nude pics of his group in several sexual situations. So go here with an open mind or go somewhere else. |

It was wild and wicked - just like they say. Visited: November 2005 |

Rule Number 1: Don't go to this place if naked people offend you. There is a nude and a prude side, but the nude come to the prude side. The prude are not allowed to go to the nude side.
Rule Number 2: Don't talk about what you saw the night before unless they do. Some don't remember, some pretend. It's all good.
The food is plentiful. We liked the Scotch Bonnet for the jerked pork and chicken. The omelets at the buffet in the morning were awesome.
Our room overlooked the "clothing optional pool". We had plenty to look at - and the ocean was beautiful, too. |

This was the sexiest place on earth (except maybe for H2). Now we know why most of the guests were repeat customers. H3 was a place where non-nudists go nude, and non-swingers can try something new (if they want to). You could do (pretty much) whatever you wanted, but there was no pressure to do anything you didn't.
The rooms were nice, but not knock-your-socks off (no socks on anyway). There was a king bed, remote control AC, small TV mounted on the wall, small whirpool tub/shower. There were also mirrors on the ceilings.
The food and facilities were generally good but not great, you don't go for the facilities, but for the atmosphere.
The social scene seemed to revolve around the nude pool by day, and the nominally clothed disco by night. Disco example: apparently you need to be clothed to get in the door, but after that - numerous beautiful completely nude and semi-nude ladies were on the dance floor every night when we were here.
The resort seemed couple oriented, but single, bi or lesbian women should do well here.
Single straight guys - you can hope, but with all that love around you, you might be feeling pretty left out. I suggest single guys go elsewhere (especially if you won't be going nude), where there are more single girls in bikinis.
Ages of the guests were 20s through 50s with most couples 30s and 40s. All shapes and sizes were represented, but if you want to "play the game", it seemed to be a "see and be seen" kind of place. |

This was a cool place to hang out. Visited: March 2003 |

My wife and I won this trip, so we weren't sure what to expect. It wasn't the place we probably would have chosen, but it was free.
Both of us are pretty open minded people, and it would take quite a bit to offend us. However, if one thinks that the entire resort is a bunch of people with their private parts hanging out, for the most part, that was not the case.
When you enter the resort almost everyone has something on, however you might see a few pairs of breasts, no big deal. There was a nude beach and pool. If you go over, you have three minutes until you are asked to strip down, because it's rude to the nude to keep your clothes on over there.
Anyway, the resort was nice, most of the help was friendly - with some exceptions as far as the waitresses went, but overall they were really nice.
The food overall wasn't bad. For lunch, eat at the Sonnet Buffet by the water. For dinner, the Japanese restaurant was the best. The Itallian restaurant food tasted like buffet food they had in the back in buckets, and the buffet food (which was what you ate when you didn't make reservations) was pretty nasty. So, make reservations when you get here.
The rooms were nice, but we didn't spend too much time there. Most of the people here were couples. I saw some single people, but they were almost all dudes. If you are a guy looking to hook up, then I wouldn't suggest this place despite the name. It was, in my opinion, a very relaxing place, for couples, or friends, who have a liberal outlook, and want to relax and have fun.
The only difference between this place and other resorts we've stayed at, was that some people enjoyed the freedom, and having the ability to be naked. So, if that doesn't bother you, have fun!
In addition, the bus ride from the airport to the resort was horrible, it was about two hours. You can buy a bag of beers at the airport before you go. If you smoke, you won't have any worries.
All in all, we had a great time, and experienced both sides of the resort. Make the best of it and enjoy! |

"Awesome" was the 'word du jour' here. Visited: November 2002 |

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first vacation together, and I was kind of worried about the nude and partying scene. But much to my surprise, there wasn't a lot to worry about.
I loved the food, I had fun with many of the staff - they tried very hard to ensure our fun level was up to par, and they went the extra mile when needed to. The staff was very pleasant and fun.
I had a wonderful time and will be returning this year again as well, so I can get the rest that was so easy to achieve there. |

Try to explain Hedo III in 2,700 characters or less - impossible. My wife and I stayed here and loved it. We were both a little apprehensive of the "wild" group we thought we would encounter there, but we were put right at ease at the beauty of the resort.
If you like swimming, you will love this place. You get to pick from four or five pools, three hot tubs, four or five bars, the selection goes on and on. You like food? There is tons of it and the selection is just as varied.
My favorite day was starting with the awesome breakfast buffet, walking around the resort and swimming a little to work off breakfast, doing a couple trips down the waterslide (you have to try it!), then a steam and sauna before swimming again. We would then go to the Scotch Bonnet for lunch and man oh man, was that good (try a cheesburger with jerk sauce!). We would then sit in the sun at one of the many locations and nap for a while.
The only trouble was deciding where and what to do.... should we drink more? Eat more? Swim more? Nap more? Party More?
My goal was to maintain a blood/alcohol level of .15 while we were here, but unfortunately there was no way to measure it and I do believe I was bordering on .25 quite a bit of the time.
Hedo III? Do it if you can, even if it's just for a few days and nights. You will love it here, but be prepared to measure it against every other resort you go to in the future, it is quite possible that no other place will measure up to it.
In addition, the people who work here are extremely friendly and want you to have a good time.
Will we go back? Absolutely, when we can afford it. |

My wife and I visited Hedonism III in 2007. We had a great time while at the resort.
Two transportation issues stood out though.
(1) The road between the airport and the resort was in such terrible condition that what was "normally" billed as a half-hour ride, took and hour and a half.
(2) As was the case with most of Jamaica, we were constantly reminded by the resort staff to not go out and away from the resort on our own due to the potential for crime. I like to take long walks each day, and was not able to which was annoying.
Otherwise, we had a grand time. |
