Nestled between the tall blue mountains and a plain-fringed sapphire sea, Trident's Port Antonio is a photographers fantasy land of majestic waterfalls, timeless rivers, a bottomless blue lagoon and the unique charm of a tropical Victorian town. It is a place of romance with an island called Princess, caves named Nonsuch and a forest known as Windsor. And it is as rich in the variety of its natural beauty as it is in its fresh fish and seafood and exotic fruits and vegetables.

Trident Villas and Hotels fourteen gazebo-dotted acres meander along the Jamaican coastline to the east of Port Antonio. Each of Tridents twenty-seven antique-furnished accommodations has exquisite views of the sea from their balconies and verandahs. Large paddle fans, reminiscent of a bygone era, provide lovely coolness on the few evenings when the trade winds forget their seemingly endless flow.

Life at Trident is one of intimacy and relaxation, cultivation and grace. It is a life of the very finest in European tradition tempered by the melodic lilt of Jamaica. Breakfast, served in ones room or on the dining terrace, is a memorable splash of tropical fruits and juices and hot West Indian breads. Afternoon tea is a daily ritual missed by few.
