Things have changed. Visited: March 2009 Posted by firsttimeinjamaica Maybe the hotel is moving towards the business clients, but we felt really ignored as a family. The room was dark with a cabinet door hanging off on one hinge. A hamburger here was $20, and certain female staff on the front desk was not helpful. Our room door was left unlocked after cleaning. Terra Nova offers comfortable surroundings, with great food and superb service. Visited: May 2006 Posted by jmoore0111 My friends and I had a superb Mother's Day Brunch at the Terra Nova on May 14th. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable surroundings, the music, excellent food and wonderful service. Terra Nova Hotel provided impeccable food and service. Visited: October 2004 Posted by adow1 Our stay was so enjoyable because of the following: the staff was always smiling; they served fantastic food; there was a casino on the premises; they provided a remote control air conditioning; and we received speedy bar service. I had a very nice room overlooking the gardens with cable TV and en-suite bathroom. There’s excellent cuisine, a swimming pool on grounds with a pool bar. Very elegant.
