This is the best location on the beach. Visited: July 2002 Posted by patcanneda I stayed at the Beach Club in July 2002 for two weeks. The accommodation was very basic, and we had to pay extra for a safety deposit box in room. The room was cleaned daily and towels were exchanged on a daily basis as well. The staff weas very friendly. Stacey and Dave, who worked in the bar/restaurant, were very nice people. The food was not what I expected. There was chicken on the menu every day, and I found the food to be very simple. The entertainment was non-existent, and the manager's cocktail party consisted of left-over food from the previous day. Overall, I had a great time. Right up to the delayed last day (Irie mon), our stay was more than welcomed by the hotel and the people we met here. I only hope I am able to return. The food, drink and accommodation, etc., were more than satisfactory for an all-inclusive holiday. The best hotel I have ever been to Visited: October 2000 Posted by nikkijoy This hotel was the most relaxed and enjoyable place I have ever been to. We made lots of friends from England here and the staff were excellent at their jobs and went out of their way to help us have a great time. I liked the location of the hotel as it was right on the beach and close to amenities. Did you find this helpful? Spring Break Bash Visited: March 2000 Posted by tdhoov I visited Jamaica for the first time while on spring break with my five college roommates. We had a blast at the Negril Beach Club. The staff especially, Everett and the life guard Dwight, went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms are nice and we had a great view from our balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool. I would definitely recommend a trip to Jamaica. The grounds were very well maintained and the rooms were kept clean. The only minor complaint that I had was about the towel service in the rooms. The food at the restaurant/bar was good. The staff were very friendly, the accommodations were as expected----moderate but clean and nice. We were married on the beach and totally unexpected by us, The Beach Club gave us a champagne reception at their expense.
