We had a very nice stay at Negril Inn. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I would only like to see ceiling fans and screens to enjoy the perfect weather.

5.0 stars We have had fantastic times every visit. Visited: July 2001

We always have a great time here, with no worries, great food and a brilliant staff. We have made new friends each time we visit.

The most memorable staff are Heavy D, A.J., Basil Brown and Paul Smith (the chef). A big thanks to A.J. who always looked after us. We look forward to returning next year (2003).

4.0 stars Excellent--You're at the center of everything! Visited: June 2001

This Inn was homey, comfortable and well staffed. Everyone at the property was helpful, friendly and expressed real concern for the guests. The Inn was small enough to get to know everyone on a first name basis. You never feel cheated by not going to a larger resort. I'll be back very soon.

5.0 stars Already planning our return trip! Visited: March 2001

I discovered this resort by searching reviews on the Internet so I feel obliged to post my review. This place was exactly what I expected it to be, fantastic. From the moment you arrive at the resort you have everything you need available to you. That is, if you survive the "bus ride" from Montego Bay. If you are thinking of visiting Negril, be prepared for a thrill ride. The road is only paved in sections, although I hear it is an improvement from years past.

Okay, back to the resort review. If you are looking for a place to get away, take it easy and enjoy life, then go to Negril Inn. There is a never-ending supply of drinks and food. If you desire side trips or motorized stuff, the guys at Negril Inn know everybody and can get you whatever you want. I am planning a return trip for a group of my friends right now. Enjoy.

5.0 stars What a delight! Visited: February 2001

We were so pleased to have found this wonderful hideaway for our honeymoon. There wasn't a thing we could have wanted. Everyone bent over backward to please us. The crew on the beach made the stay a delight. The food was out of this world. I even had special things made for me that I found extremely tasty as well as a few cooking lessons. We are returning as soon as possible. We are on the 3-year plan to return!

4.0 stars Best value for the money Visited: January 2001

Excellent staff and food. The rooms were good, if not somewhat outdated but great value for the money. The 2nd floor was the best.

The hotel's location almost centers on 7-mile beach. It was close to all the beach party areas. The water sports equipment was old but usable.

We partied from day one until we had to leave. We would love to go back next year.

5.0 stars Negril Inn is an incredible bargain Visited: November 2000

We stayed at the Negril Inn and it was the best time we have ever had! The staff were just awesome, the food was fantastic and the beach was beautiful! The rooms were nothing fancy, but then who is going to spend a lot of time in their room anyway? We loved everything about the Inn and can't wait to return!

Negril Inn is a simple place with the best staff. Nick, Elvis, Heavy D and Kevin go out of their way to make it the best time you could ever have. I made some good friends. The food was good and all of the activities you need are right there. I will continue to go there for years to come.

4.0 stars Just the ticket. Visited: July 2000

This is the place. It’s small enough to care about each and every guest, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Ideally situated on a fantastic stretch of beach with crystal-clear water and safe bathing. It’s just a short taxi ride from the famous Rick’s Cafe and The Pickled Parrot (you just have to do the cliff jump), and what amazing sunsets!

Food and drink was plentiful and more than satisfactory. Staff was friendly and more than helpful. Many thanks to A.J, Elvis, Heavy D, Shabba and especially to Nick who taught me to windsurf and dance. Thanks also to Elvis and Heavy D for all the snorkeling trips. Beach parties are close by every night, after evening entertainment at the Inn kindly supplied by the one and only "Turtle."

We plan to return as soon as possible. To summarize, we loved the place and can't wait to return—the sooner the better.

5.0 stars Most relaxing vacation ever! Visited: July 2000
Posted by clowe170
My parents have been going to the Negril Inn every year for the last ten years and now I know why! My husband and I decided to check this place out for ourselves, and I must say, it was the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken.

The setting is beautiful, the staff is phenomenal (we made life-long friends there), the food is great and -- best of all-- it is so peaceful. Sure the place isn't fancy, but it's comfortable and clean. I would gladly trade fancy and exorbitantly expensive for simple and affordable any day!

We liked it so much that, my parents, my husband, myself and six other members of our family plan to return this month!

Visited Negirl Inn with my three best friends in January of 2000. We had a great time. The food wasn't great but the rooms were and the staff went out of their way to please us. Highly recommended for a group of guys.

4.0 stars Paradise found at last! Visited: June 1999

I had the opportunity to stay at the Negril Inn during the summer of 1999. I went there with some cousins and we just had a great time. The staff were warm and went above and beyond the call of duty for us. The food was excellent, the accommodations were adequate, the musical performances were terrific, and the water activities were fun.

This quiet place, which is right on the beach, and private, offers a lot for a nice price.

4.0 stars This is the place just to have fun Visited: December 1969

After traveling to different parts of the world I must admit Jamaica takes it. Once I entered the Negril Inn I was in shock. What resort doesn't have a telephone or a television set in the room? But that became the least of my worries. Who wants to watch T.V. and talk on the phone during vacation anyway? It turned out to be my best vacation ever.

The staff were wonderful. Everyone was friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The entertainment was great. So if you're planning to visit Jamaica, Negril Inn would be a good place to stay especially for the price.
Hey, the food was actually good! Hey "Mon" this is the spot!
