With all the hype that surrounded the RIU chain of hotels - especially the ones in Negril - expected a lot more than was received.
In all honesty, the property was beautiful. However, if you are anything short of Spanish-speaking or possessing a foreign accent, the customer service is the pits.
Although we never ran out of choices in the main dining hall, the food preparation left much to be desired. I actually got food poisoning during my visit, and the nurse thought I was having a heart attack. |
