| We have stayed at Rose Hall three times - before and after all the work. We have found the staff to be great. Also, the food has always been very good. We all have had a fabulous time during our stays here. |

Accident Victim Visited: February 2010 |

| My wife and I along with 2 daughters and 9 other friends stayed at your resort from Feb 14 till Feb 21. Our room # was 1106. My wife fell into the lowered part in front of the stage. She had no warning that there was at least a 14" lowered area with no warning ropes . She is still layed up from her fall. In fact she had more xrays done again today. I called the front desk after it happened and the only thing they offered was to send a nurse to our room for a charge of $40.00. If this happened at any hotel in the states they would have offered free medical care. Also most people would sue your establishment. We also upon arrival had a problem with non available rooms due to over booking. It was not resolved until we asked (Funjet Vacations) to get involved. No one seemed to care and there were people who spent the previous night sleeping in the check-in area. This is deplorable and I can not recomend this place to anyone. |

Grand Palladium takes your money without reserving a room. Visited: February 2010 |
|
| Posted by thejame | |
| The Grand Palladium overbooked its hotel by at least 300 rooms for the Presidents Week (February 12 - 21). Our trip had been booked, confirmed and paid for months in advance. Two days before we were scheduled to leave, Travelocity called to notify us that we could not stay at the Grand Palladium. No one from the hotel ever contacted us, and not so much as a form letter of apology was issued on their behalf. We met countless other people in the same situation - including a wedding party who was forced to relocate without notice. Despicable. What was supposed to be a relaxing time away was a maddening week of trying to deal with Travelocity and our new hotel site to secure a comparable package that was purchased month before. The hotel should be ashamed that they assumed no responsibility whatsoever, despite happily accepting our $3,400 prepayment. You should only consider booking here if you have thousands of dollars to throw away. |

This was a wonderful intimate property. Visited: December 2009 |

| Coyaba is the perfect antidote to the all-inclusive monsters so common in the Caribbean. It is a small boutique hotel part of the Special Hotels of the World - and rightly so. The real difference is made by the attention and friendliness of the staff. I strongly recommend you upgrade for few dollars and get an ocean view room. The vista is really amazing, and if you are on the ground floor you will literally be few steps away from the water. The beach is small. However, you won't need a large one as it is more than enough for the few lucky guests who will be staying here. Breakfast is cooked to order every day, and you have a choice of one very good restaurant and two bars-restaurants for a quick bite. To make the service even more leisurely, you can take advantage of the spa services with a massage on the pier overlooking the reef. It was unforgettable! The manager organizes different theme nights inviting local artists and featuring local cuisine. As a final touch to our perfect holiday, the manager and the receptionist allowed us to overstay our room for almost a day considering our flight was eight hours delayed! This is not common seeing the big "super-luxury" hotels kicking you out of the room as soon as they can! Do go if you like a calm relaxing holiday. Don't go if you like the impersonal international chains or large resorts. |

This was a horrible place. Visited: November 2009 |

| We arrived to a giant cockroach in our room. There was no hot water in the shower. We went to dinner to escape, where our wait staff was so rude to my new husband (we were here for our honeymoon!) who is black and of Jamaican descent, that we left back to our room. A security guard yelled to my husband that he had to be a guest to stay in the villa. He said he was my husband and showed his bracelet. They followed us into our villa yelling at my husband. Clearly, we weren't going to stay after that. So, only three hours after checking in, we checked out and demanded a refund. We were told that only the day manager could do so and that he would call us the next day. He never called. The phone just rang when we tried to call, and we have received no refund. The management, employees and policies are all horrible. Don't stay here if you are of color, or believe in equal rights for people of color! |

Riu Montego Bay has friendly staff and a large pool. Visited: January 2009 |

| This hotel had very friendly staff, and its bartenders were extremely friendly! The hotel had a nice, large pool area and thanks to a tip we received, we found that scuba diving is great near the resort with reasonable rates. We tried to make same day / next day restaurant reservations, but we were unable to get in to any of the restaurants throughout our stay. The buffet was okay, though. Try the jerk chicken on the beach. The room we had was very spacious. Overall, the hotel was very clean. |

I'll be back! Visited: August 2009 |

| Our visit to Sandals Montego Bay was without a doubt the most amazing vacation experience we have ever had. When we checked out of the resort the young lady at the front desk asked me, "What was the best part about your visit?" That was a hard question to answer since there were so many elements that made the visit perfect. The people of Jamaica are the most genuinely nice people I think I have ever encountered. Everyone at the resort would gladly go out of their way to help you with whatever we needed. The food was magnificent! All-Inclusive trips are the way to go. Each night at one of the restaurants we went to had some sort of lobster dish every night. One night was a seafood buffet, and there were so many Caribbean style dishes I had never had it was hard to choose which ones to try. Each meal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner was an event, not just a meal. One morning, on my wife's birthday, they brought us breakfast in bed. Now when I say breakfast in bed, that's exactly what we got. The young man brought us breakfast on a tray balanced on his head and then set the table on our bed! It made her day that much more special. If you're worried about finding things to do while at the resort, don't! You can lay on the beach, hang out by one of the two pools, go snorkeling, diving, sailing, kayaking, or go on tours that are set up through the resort. They also have a great spa and an outdoor fitness facility that rivaled our gym here at home. And leave your watch at home because when in Jamaica, there's no need to worry about time. In fact, we didn't see a clock anywhere on the property except for the alarm clock in our room. It was a slice of heaven on earth, and we will be going back as soon as we can! |

It was so disappointing. Visited: August 2009 |

| We just got back from wasting our money. Where to begin? First, the food was terrible. An all inclusive place that doesn't allow you to eat in the same restaurant more than once is ridiculous. I had almost limited choices being a vegetarian. However, I did come back nine pounds lighter. My kids were bored to death after the first day. One day the power went out (not their fault). However, to not have back-up generators to power the air or safety lights on the pitch black stairwells at night is very unsafe. Our room was always dirty. I left a few things purposely on the floor to see if they were swept. No! There also was a dead bird that laid on the sidewalk near our building for five days (even after I informed the front desk). In addition, how do you not replace the toilet paper when you see the roll is almost empty and not even leave a new one? Ice machines never worked the entire week. I wish I had stayed home. |

This was a total disappointment. Visited: June 2009 |

| We just got back last week from our honeymoon at the Sandals Royal Caribbean. Though the rooms were top notch and the food was great when you could get it, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff was slow and uncaring. We had a butler when we stayed here. I'mm not sure why, as they did next to nothing for us. I had prebooked the seafood cruise, and they even managed to screw that up on us by telling us to wait at the wrong place for the boat at the wrong time, then tried to return the blame to us. Upon their screw up for us missing dinner, one would think they would offer to make reservations for us at one of their restaurants. Wrong again. We waited in the Cricketers Pub for an hour for some appetizers. Later, we returned to our room and ordered room service which never showed up. Expect to wait up to ten minutes at any one of their bars for drinks. And if you are a smoker and would like an ashtray, good luck getting that, too. I could go on. Please know it was a big disappointment and I would check out other places. My recommendations would be to allow tipping. Perhaps the lousy service would improve. I will never stay at another Sandals again. There are way too many other all inclusive choices out there that offer better service for your dollar! |

It was disappointing to say the least. Visited: March 2009 |

| I found reviews on Trip Advisor for this place, and thought it looked and sounded nice. I booked and quickly regretted it. As for the rooms - deluxe? Are you kidding? My bed in university was bigger. If my room was a deluxe, I would hate to see what they consider a cabin room. It was small with poor lighting. However, the bathroom fan worked - that was a plus. Also, there was a safe in the room. So that would be two positives (and that was all). The food was very simple. It was rather boring and very bland. There was no variety. The BBQ counter ran out of jerk chicken at 5 pm. The hotel was at full capacity. As for the staff - just try and make them smile. It was sad. In addition, the front desk staff was very rude. The beach okay, but was like a huge ashtray. Okay, so that's not the hotel's fault, but it is a valid complaint. I couldn't wait to leave, and I will not be purchasing any Breezes products in the future, either. |

The beach and the water sports were the only super things about it. Visited: January 2009 |

| Posted by jenmbrow | |
| The beach was great, but crowded. The guys who work in the watersports area were friendly, helpful, and informative. The worst part, by far, was the dark, dank room. It was tiny, dirty, and loud with early 90s decor, and the ceiling in the bathroom was falling in. I asked the front desk if they could move us to another comparable room, or we would even pay more to be upgraded to a nicer room. The woman (rudely) said she'd send someone to look at the ceiling. The man came and said, in fact, the ceiling was falling in and needed to be fixed. He couldn't do it, but said he would sent someone to do it. They never came. Also, the shower drain got clogged with ceiling chunks, and didn't drain properly. It was disgusting. The entertainment was awful, and the food was terrible. Go somewhere else. |

AFIMI is the only choice for villa rentals in MoBay. Visited: August 2008 |

| Posted by sanita | |
| Our family had the pleasure of staying at AFIMI Villa in MoBay, and we were so happy that we will return next year. It was centrally located, close to the famous Doctor's Cave Beach, Negril, and other area attractions we visited. We loved the fact that that it was in a secure area, had a beautiful infinity pool that we lounged in daily, and a small beach front. Also, the villa itself was breathtaking. Our cook made the best Jamaican food we had ever tasted. We wanted to bring her back to Canada with us! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will recommend this to all our friends and return next year for another vacation! |

It was a beautiful hotel, but there were some negatives. Visited: September 2008 |

| The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very professional and helpful. However, the beds were not comfortable at all - even after several attempts to improve it. Also, there were very little (or not at all) pool/beach/indoor game activities or entertainment. These areas need improvement. |

| Our Jamaican vacation was so enriched by our stay in this wonderful villa. It was beautifully located for trips into the town of Montego Bay - and also for destinations beyond. The villa itself was wonderfully equipped and thoughtfully planned for our every need. We reveled in the views from both the upstairs balcony and the patio. We will definitely make a habit of renting this villa. |

| Many of the staff members here had such poor attitudes and were extremely complacent about serving us. Not only was the service bad, the food was mediocre at best - and the prices were outrageous. On top of all of this, we came back to erroneous charges of several hundred dollars on our credit card. So, if you decide to take a chance and stay at the Ritz, I'd suggest cash transactions only. That's a suggestion. |
