Nevis was like God's country - it was breathtaking. And Nisbet was Heaven! Caddy and Dan (the bartenders) were hilarious! They will get you all mashed up! Patterson was amazing, too.
This was the best vacation we ever had. We want to move to Nevis. We visited many other hotels on the island and I would say Nisbet was the best. It is definitely the place to stay if you want a romantic, laid back getaway! |

We were married at Nisbet.
I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place to exchange our wedding vows. There were mountains in the background, the ocean in the foreground and we were underneath the Caribbean sunshine. It was truly perfect!
The staff at Nisbet was outstanding. Pam was a wonderful help in planning our wedding, Patterson was an amazing and energetic person (helpful in every way possible). And the rest of the staff was helpful, also.
The food was incredible and first class, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was romantic - situated on a small, untouched island.
We'll definitely go back! |

We honeymooned at Nisbet in June. It was every bit as romantic as we could have hoped. The rooms, great house, lawns and beaches were extremely well-kept and stylish. The food is first class, and you can't help but become instant friends with the staff. The only minus was that the ocean was too rocky to wade, swim, or float around in comfortably. If that's your vacation's sole purpose, it's a problem. Otherwise, you won't be disappointed by this top notch hotel. |

Nisbet is so wonderful, it's magical. From the welcome right down to the sad goodbye, it was an absolutely perfect honeymoon destination, one we will return to as often as possible. We stayed 2 weeks...shortest 2 weeks of our lives.
The staff is terrific...Patterson ("Lovely!!"), Roslyn, Kaddy, Dan, Allison, Kurt, Deborah.....and of course "Nurse Violet".....all sincere, straightforward wonderful human beings. If you haven't been......GO !!! You'll always be grateful you did. |

The staff catered to us without being overbearing. They truly made us feel like we were visiting their home. The food was first rate, in a beautiful plantation-style "Great House." The grounds, beach, and rooms were spotless and in perfect repair. We met many repeat guests and it's easy to see why! The island of Nevis is beautiful—still very much unspoiled and completely safe, with extremely gracious people who are genuinely happy to see tourists. |

We stayed at Nisbet last year and loved it. There was a quiet beach, and above all, incredibly attentive service—especially at night during the 5-course dinner.
Service at the beach bar, and at breakfast, could be a bit slow at times, but this is my only (very minor) gripe.
All in all we were treated "like royalty" (as someone else here wrote). Definitely highly recommended!

If you're looking for a place where relaxation is the operative word, you can find it here. Five course, immaculate meals, an overacheiving staff, and a beautiful plantation make Nisbet the place to stay on Nevis.
My wife and I were here on our honeymoon and we were treated like royalty. They offered many activities for the active type. The pool and the beach were perfect for those that like to take it easy. |

Imagine a destination where dinner is a 5 course affair, you are not hassled by peddlers at the beach, any desire or whim is met with the simple reply of "no problem". Oh, did I mention the staff does your laundry for you? Welcome to Nisbet Plantation.
The staff is outstanding and the beach is clear and sandy. I don't have enough positive things to say about Nisbet. |
